We saw on Embedded where they have coaches meetings pretty frequently. McDermott/Beane is relying heavily on a position coach on how each player they are responsible for is doing. If I had to guess, Edmunds is the odd man out after this year. He's probably going to have a big pay day in FA and just too much for us to want to pay. Just a guess but I think it's Oliver and Knox they want to keep.

This is how I see it.

He averaged 4.6 ypc and 870 rushing yards last year. He had 7 games last year with single digit attempts. He was splitting reps with Moss early on and we had terrible run blocking ahead of him….he started getting the lions share in the last 4-5 games. I think this year he does it. He will get the majority share of the carries and I don’t see our run blocking being as bad this year.

I saw an NFL meme post last night about Lovie Smith. He went 17-39 at Illinois. Came back to the NFL to the the Texans Defensive Coordinator and finished 27th and 31st in points allowed. Now he's he Texans HC. He failed up!

For him it is. I hope he has a good career too. I don't wish ill will on any former Bills player except anyone that bashes the Bills lol. I don't see it with Hodgins though. He had a hard time separating against 3rd stringers. I don't see him getting clean releases on starting caliber corners in the NFL.

We were 3rd in the entire league in scoring when we won 7 games by 3 scores or more. We had back ups playing in several games early in the 4th quarter. We won every game by double digits. We took our foot off the gas.

I think Sal was right about the special teams aspect. They had him play a lot of snaps at ST in the Panthers game. They wanted to see if he could do it. Sal mentioned when he watched him, he wasn't strong enough and was just getting pushed around. If you're going to be our 5th option at WR, you need to be able to play ST.

I remember you were ripping Beane for not signing a big time DL free agent. Last year you specifically stated Beane missed out on Hendrickson and Yannick...mentioned it several times. This year, Beane does what you wanted and now you're complaining about putting favorable amount of resources into the DL? You're acting like our offense is a weak link. We were 3rd in scoring and that's with us blowing so many teams out where we took the starters out in the second half. We had the largest margin of victory in the NFL and beat almost every team by more than 2 scores. So we give up 42 to the Chiefs and you think "We need more offense. That's the only way to beat the Chiefs."

The Chiefs offense absolutely was terrible in the second half against the Bengals in the AFCCG. The Chiefs overcompensated by having their first 2 draft picks on defense and then trading Tyreek Hill. Good moves?
