I think Phillips is out for a long while. He tweaked hammy usually has you hobbling...he went down hard liked it locked up completely. I've heard that Settle thought he could go last night. I think it was a precautionary to hold him off one more week. I think you're right about Oliver not being close last night but it'll be more than two weeks for his sprain. I've sprained my ankle I think 7 times in my life and 10 days was the norm for me....but I'm also not 285 lbs. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

I don’t follow the Broncos closely but my friend does. He told me Elway has been stripped of all football decisions because of how bad he’s been. He’s just a figure head for the organization and if he wasn’t a legend, would have been fired. The new GM makes the football decisions. Elway might be a part of it but everything runs through the GM.

Just like every injury, it's a case by case basis. Some sprains last a week, some last 3. Some ACL's have 5th month recovery times, some have 9.

If Allen didn't overthrow him, he might have had two TD's. He's our like 5th option but seeing what he did yesterday, you still have to account for him. He's athletic and fast for a FB. Several on this board have stated he's worthless.....he's a big part of our team. He's out there a lot for a reason.
