  1. I don’t know what the rules are. They may not be able to use anything you mentioned. Our training staff I’m 100% sure discussed options.
  2. Still looks a little sensitive....we really need him back.
  3. That would be a good idea. Something to keep our players at least somewhat protected. I believe many players were getting IV's at halftime. If the Dolphins had the same issue with the sun, there be no issues. They both are equally affected and it's a balanced playing field. I played against Florida Atlantic which is in Boca and that sun is unbearable. Our SS had to go to the hospital after the game for severe heat cramps....he was stuck in a fetal position. If it wasn't for us to be able to sit in a shaded dugout in between innings, more of us would have had heat related issues. We aren't moving as much as football players so I can understand why Bills players were dropping.
  4. The sun shines through the north endzone and doesn't directly hit one sideline. Miami specifically designed the stadium this reason to give them an advantage and it worked. I feel in any conditions, each team should have an even playing field. Then excuses can't be made.
  5. Is the wind tunnel designed to specifically blow all the wind on the visitor sidelines?
  6. Not a freak storm or wind but certain days can be hotter than the average heat index right? Some days are hotter than others. One team doesn't get the 15 degree benefit and the other does. It was predictable but that doesn't mean even with the best preparation, you're not majorly affected.
  7. Yes, I forgot about the 17 game schedule.
  8. From what I understand, it has to be equal. Since the Dolphins didn't use canopy's or tents, we couldn't either. Its the way the NFL makes sure each team has the same resources and nothing is "unequal".
  9. When players physically start dropping on the field and not able to finish the game because of cold, then there's a point.
  10. It has nothing to do with sensitivity. When you're on a specific teams message board and the majority of the time you just complain about them, you're going to have push back.
  11. And the weather isn't always the same in 35 years. This game in particular was brutal for heat.
  12. Maybe Poyer isn't re-signed and we put that money towards the OL next year. But, hopefully they get it together like that the end of last year.
  13. His game log shows 16 games last year but I did look up the Panthers game and missed it. He still has been available for us 99% of the time.
  14. He's never missed a game in his career.
  15. We obviously throw the ball a lot and the Ravens are currently 26th in passing attempts. Surprisingly they are 19th in rushing attempts. Seems like they're a big play offense and not manufacturing long drives down the field. I would guess we would have a similar strategy as the Rams game with getting the ball out quick...not throwing as much down the field. What do you guys think?
  16. Bills were cramping more because they didn't get a break from the sun. They were losing more than they were retaining. Players were getting IV's at half time and that still didn't keep them from cramping. I've had heat cramps before and it's just awful. I looked like Diggs on the sideline....you are too cramped up and exhausted to move.
  17. They had proper hydration. They’ve got all the Gatorades and potassium drinks they need. I had it in college and I was in a mid major school 20 years ago. We had everything we needed.
  18. It was 78 degrees by half time last year and mostly cloudy. You can fill yourself with all the potassium, electrolytes and hydration schedules and you can still suffer. The sun beats down on your for 3-4 hours, it takes a toll. Especially if you don’t get a break from it. Some people can handle it better, some can’t. I’ve had heat exhaustion and extreme cramping before after I fully committed to a hydration schedule and filled myself with electrolytes.
