With it going to rain for the Dolphins/49ers game...I have the 49ers heavy favorites for that. They run it very well. Tua and the speedy WR in the rain is a big obstacle. It's like the mid 200's Colts in which they couldn't score against NE at NE in the cold weather. This is a big game for us. We can overtake the division again and then we play Miami....put our foot on their throats.

I have a feeling Von can be ready sooner but he's okay with waiting for the playoffs. He knows why he was brought here and probably was reminded of that by McBeane. I bet if we were like 6-5 and barely holding onto a playoff spot...he would play.

I was at the Falcons game and if I remember correctly, Humber started that game. He came off the field I believe for a thumb injury and Milano came in after. Milano was brought on slowly through out the year with Humber spelling him a lot. If he wasn't having struggles, he would have stayed on the field. Humber was definitely not the future. Milano is also an All Pro. I'm not saying Bernard is going to be. I'm just saying players can improve....especially rookies.

Just remember people who are criticizing Bernard right now....Milano struggled and was replaced taken out for Ramon Humber on more than one occasion.

He's not wrong but he's not saying we have no talent. He's also said this for two years. It was just worded "QB centric" last year. It's time for Davis to step up or Knox needs more targets down the field. We need a more consistent #2 option.

I think our offense will come back and we will start putting up points again. I definitely see us winning by double digits again.

I feel like this is slump that we've had every year. They pick it up. We were 7-6 at one point last year. Dolphins, Colts, Jags and Jets. We couldn't do anything on offense against the Jags and Colts...nothing. Dolphins, we struggled a bit. Jets we blew out in that stretch. In 2020, Titans, Chiefs, Jets and Patriots our offense was terrible....18 ppg for a 4 game stretch. We ignited after the Seahawks game.

I agree with Cosell in that we need to add talent to offense but we aren't a bunch of bodies other than Josh. We haven't played well, especially Josh for a few game stretch. Leads the league in INT's and has been brutal in the redzone....yet we are still 2nd in the league in scoring. So if Josh is struggling and we can still put up points....how is that possible? It's because we have talent on offense. Just because you need to add talent doesn't mean you don't have talent currently.

So lets hold his word as gospel.

Super Bowl winners are determined by 11 games? After 11 games last year, the Rams were on a 3 game losing streak. In 2020, the Bucs were lost 3 out of 4 and 7-5 at one point. You are holding Cosell's word as gospel....
