  1. You think the Bills are paying PFF for their grading system? They're paying someone else to break down their own film and grade their own players? Here's the thing. Rhodes is a fringe player himself....he was on the couch when the Bills called. You're criticizing them for bringing on fringe players but then arguing they should have kept another fringe player. If you're going to be a back up who doesn't usually see the field and doesn't play special teams....that's wasting a roster spot because that player doesn't contribute on the field. A special teamer at least does that.
  2. Wallace said he should have looked back and realigned but didn’t actually mean it. Wallace never said Poyer was lined too deep but he was passively aggressively throwing blame at Poyer and anyone who disagrees is too stubborn.
  3. PFF player grades is not evidence or proof....come on. Do you know who watches film and sees them in practice every day? McDermott and Frazier. But it seems they missed on this because they didn't use PFF grades? According to PFF, Andy Dalton is the 5th best QB this year. Jalen Ramsey has had a bad year...PFF say's he's the 3rd best corner. They have him ahead of Jaire Alexander lol.
  4. Geezus dude. Wallace said specifically that if he turned his head and saw how deep Poyer was playing, he would have realigned. You don't know anyone's assignment but Wallace told you what he should have done but instead of listening to him, you're going to post screen shots of how you think they should have aligned. I guess in your mind, if one corner presses or plays off, so does the other like they have to be in unison? They don't press one side and off the other? Are you sure? He absolutely wasn't passively throwing blame at Poyer. Then you get arrogant with if we weren't so stubborn, we would see you're probably right. Are you seriously saying you aren't stubborn? You are one of the most argued against posters on here dude. The only factual statement is Wallace saying he would have realigned if he saw Poyer deep. That's it. Speculate all you want, we have one factual statement.
  5. The stadium is going to erupt on Sunday when he appears on the jumbotron. You know it's going to happen and I'm going be at a public bar in tears. It is!
  6. Love backwards is evol. Think about it.
  7. He’s not retiring. It wasn’t an extremely difficult recovery. Chase Young was out longer with his ACL recovery. They took the cautious approach.
  8. Even at the HS level, you adjust alignments. So you're saying that whatever alignment is called, you go to the alignment and never, ever adjust. McDermott/Frazier call a play, the offense lines up in something different and you don't make any changes on defense? He admitted that if he took a look at how far back Poyer was playing, he would have changed his alignment. He was supposed to change his alignment and he didn't.
  9. So we keep Rhodes even if he’s terrible just because he has experience?
  10. We don’t need safeties? All players signed in week 18 are fringe players.
  11. So he went from average to good. When did Beast call the coaches an idiot?
  12. When news breaks that Hamlin pulled through and is expected to make it....I think I will be able to feel the energy here in Atlanta. I would expect a lot of tears and when the first TD is scored, the roar will measure on the Richter scale.
  13. I read a study like 15 years ago where they actually had devices on the lineman's pads to measure the intensity of each hit. This wasn't even the NFL, like D3 football school or something and the results were that these OL were getting into equivalent of 35-40 car crashes at 30 mph.
  14. I think you mean capoeira. This is one martial art that slaves created to disguise it as a dance because it was illegal for slaves to train in fighting.
  15. I'm interested in how this training was handled. You don't just "MMA" train. You work each discipline and then combine them to develop your technique. Wrestling is great but you're just wrestling. MMA, you combine boxing, wrestling, BJJ, judo and muay thai. I wonder how long these classes are.
  16. Paralyzed I believe the only one. But neck injuries, they get the all the time. If it's an MMA match, choking and every submission is allowed. I can't read the article because I don't have a subscription. I'm pretty sure they can't have full contact cage matches. The state of NY just about 5 or so years ago allowed professional MMA fighting for the first time. They can have grappling matches or train for it but not a full contact match. In Georgia, as an amateur who hasn't reached the professional level, they wear shin guards and not allowed to punch in the head on the ground.
  17. Ive been training in MMA for about 10 years now and I haven’t heard of any children competing in a ring or cage. I think it’s actually illegal under 18. They take a specific discipline like Jiu Jitsu or Boxing. Some kids can spar in the ring with head gear that’s monitored and not throwing full punches. You just have to really monitor chokes if they grapple. Mike Utley Dennis Byrd
  18. It's still an extra layer of padding. An 80 mph might not help but a 50 mph can.
  19. I think I'm buying this for my kid for baseball. https://www.dickssportinggoods.com/p/mcdavid-youth-hex-sternum-shirt-17mcvyhxstrnmshrthrt/17mcvyhxstrnmshrthrt
  20. I can't stop thinking about Damar's parents. Please pull through Damar.
