  1. I was going to go get food, turnaround and come home. But instead, I got on 3 highways.
  2. It is, he's a physical mismatch on both. I just notice when he lines up inside, he gets good penetration.
  3. I think they would. With the rotation, they'll get plenty of snaps. With one of these additions, I think it gives us flexibility to move Rousseau inside on pass rushing situations. I think he's better there than on the outside in pass rushing. He's hard to look over and with guards arm length not as long as your tackles generally....his reach allows him to get his hands on faster.
  4. Not just 3 regular concussions either, these seem to be the more severe. I will never get that image out of my head when his fingers froze.
  5. Howard’s Farewell. It got pretty emotional! I will miss him. He was the first Buffalo Sports radio guy I listened to back in the Empire days. Good luck Howard! https://www.audacy.com/wgr550/sports/news/listen-a-fond-farewell-from-howard-simon?fbclid=IwAR0_zmTOuTVJEZlvAf73Zr_YxgimuDs4w8wfEhOjQyrWOTwOm88x3MKqUy0
  6. I think it seems silly if you pay multiple people when one person can do the job. Most of these players don't even know who the nutritionist is and will never talk with her.
  7. It doesn't have to do with cost savings. The Hawks, Braves and Falcons use the same nutritionist My college had one nutritionist for 9 sports.
  8. Gabe Davis is not going to be traded for a late first or second. A 3rd is the highest but you're looking at a 4th round for him.
  9. 100% percent agree with McDermott. I think we need to bring in a mid level vet or two who has attitude. Someone like a 2014 Jerry Hughes. Von Miller is a great leader but you also need a leader who will speak up and get in peoples faces. We have a bunch of Smokey's on defense. We need a Deebo.
  10. That's what was disappointing in the Bengals game. If you get beat, you get beat. But if you get beat because you didn't fight back and get pushed around, it was embarrassing.
  11. I think the only game where we had shorter passing was the opener. We went downfield a lot in game #2 against the Titans. We went short too much where Allen after the Lions game that going deep is good...I knew he was going to be aggressive the rest of the year. I'm up and down on how I feel about it. Yes, Allen should have on multiple occasions take the underneath throw to convert the first instead of picking up 30. However, I believe the majority of the time, that deep WR was open.
  12. Yes and they should be prosecuted at the full extent for whatever they're guilty of. When I say I feel for them, I don't mean they should get away with this. Nothing has changed with kids and their stupid driving.
  13. So you would rather a #5/#6 WR contribute nothing and just sit on the sidelines? You know most teams WR last on the depth chart are usually Special Teams Players…
  14. That I’m more heartbroken than sad and gave a personal reasons why.
  15. Exactly. I once turned on my sprinklers and went to get food. I saw someone I knew up there and instead of going back home, I stayed. My sprinklers were on for two hours straight...completely forgot. This was around 11:00 am and I had a swamp. I live in Atlanta and by 5:00 pm, most of it had dried up.
  16. Only if you promise me bulgogi and the beef was blessed by a Korean Jew.
  17. There is zero hype on this years draft. It's either I'm not watching TV or the big networks aren't covering it as much. I thought this might be the case that they don't have really a lot of names.
  18. We just always competed. Something random like we would be leaving a restaurant and someone would say "last ones get the second game of Madden". So we all ran to the cars get and go. This is the mind of a 17 year old. It wasn't every single time....just random times we wanted to be stupid. I got one speeding ticket in HS. It wasn't just driving we would compete at.
  19. I'm not normalizing it....I'm just giving you the reality that this is very common with young men. This isn't just a Jalen Carter thing, this is a 16-24 year old thing. I'm not proud of it but myself along with the crowds I hung out with as they've gotten older realized they were stupid. You can get pissy all you want with me but this the reality. It's on your roads at 2:00 am when you're sleeping. It was suburban streets by like neighborhoods, its those long stretches of roads by malls or restaurants or bars. By me, it was Barrett Parkway. Once you leave the well lit areas and go down the roads heading towards the suburbs, there's a few mile stretch of 55 mph in which we would floor it. It wasn't like we were doing 90 for like 15 minutes....these are 15-30 seconds and then slow down.
  20. I've done it more than on long empty roads. I've done it in the city. I never got it up to 100 mph in the city but in the 55 mph sections at 2:00 am....we would hit 90 mph driving home. I've done it several times not on long country roads. One spot in particular I know is known for it. It's 55 mph and people will race down at 2:00 am.
  21. I mean, I'm not a grass expert but if what Toma said was correct, the new NFL director is stupid. My last house, I had the best grass in the neighborhood. I bought a new house with nothing but weeds, I'm sodding in the spring. I will send my before and after photos to the NFL along with my application. I'm never a "I'm smarter than the experts" kind of guy but I'm 100% sure I would have had the grass better that what this NFL Director did....they allowed fungus to grow because they didn't give it enough sunlight after watering it. That legitimately is stupid, I'm sorry.
  22. I have done it and know about 100 people that have done it....several times. Boys get competitive and adrenaline, you'll have a guy trying to pass you in the other lane....hit the gas and talk trash with the windows down to your buddy in the next car. We did it heading home from college probably every time. The roads on the state lines between Alabama and Georgia are usually empty....long country roads. We would hit stretches of 100 mph. This is 20 year old thinking that you're invincible. This is why when I hear stories about this, even as bad as it is, I get more heartbroken than angry. Someone died that shouldn't and someone made a terrible a mistake. A mistake I've made and several others but we were lucky. I obviously don't do it anymore, people (most) mature and understand reality. 20 year old make stupid mistakes because they don't understand the reality yet.
  23. What's crazy is its not an age thing. I'm seeing from young ones to old ones. It's got to be google. People think a 5 minute article is worth as much as a PhD.
