I feel the blitz is only effective against mediocre and below QB's. Almost all great QB's are good against the blitz. They usually recognize early and know how to counter it quickly. Mental processing speed is faster than any LB/Edge/Corner legs.

I understand that and not arguing against that. But I just am not a believer that a great OL will always stop a great DL. If that's the case, no reason invest in a DL to get after the QB because they will be rendered useless against a great OL. The difference was Mahomes. If you put lets say a mid level QB like a Derek Carr or Kirk Cousins....they aren't putting up 38 on Philly even behind KC's offensive line.

The Eagles DL was legendarily good with production. I'm not sure I would say the Chiefs offensive line was legendarily great last year. The Tampa Super Bowl, the Chiefs oline was manhandled because they had 3 backs ups against a stout DL. No QB would have been good there.

It was the right call. You don't even need to gain an inch, you just need to execute a simple QB/C exchange and the game is over. Not only that, we had plenty of time at the end of the game to at least tie and/or win it. Allen got too confident in his arm and then threw late over the middle....which is a big no no for a QB.
-
The Eagles had 80 sacks last year which I believe was 3rd all time. They bring heat and really get after the QB....just dominant up front. It still wasn't enough to win the Super Bowl and they gave up 38 to the Chiefs. If you have an elite QB, that trumps all. We have that and if given the right resources, we should be fine against any defense.

You have the most unrealistic expectations ever, that’s the problem. The average #4-#5 WR options typically will haul in roughly 35 receptions a season across the NFL. But when our guys do it…its poor.

I'm saving up for the home opener. I have Delta credit for the Browns game last year that was moved. Since my flights are paid for and that's saving me about $1,000....I'm getting 1st row tickets right at the 50. -

Mecole Hardman averages about 35 or so catches a season. KC thought so little of him they let him go. Cobb is 33 now and in the last few seasons, is averaging about 35 catches a season. Corey Davis in his career averages 45 catches a season. The Titans thought so little of him and let him go. Alan Lazard in his career averages 33 catches a season. The Packers thought so little of him they let him go. It looks like you believe if a team doesn't resign someone, they think very little of them....I'm just using your thought process. James Cook was I believe 9 or so carries away from leading the NFL in yards per carry. It was 5.7 ypc by the way. Damien Harris has 20 TD's in the last 2 seasons. Since you pointed out we have a RB that hasn't finished a full season....how many has Breece Hall finished? Yours are not assumptions? Are you assuming Aaron Rodgers will return to 2021 or are you guaranteeing it? -

Not for people on this board. -
I didn't say he's the answer. I clearly stated he's not one of our top options at the position. I clearly stated he's our speed guy. Quit putting words in my mouth. McKenzie had 6 more catches and 1 more TD and you're acting that's an insurmountable feat to get lol.
-
Its a Bills message board, a lot of players get talked up after the draft.
-
Isiah McKenzie had 42 catches, 442 yards and 4 TD’s last year. Harty was injured last year so but in 2021, he had 36 catches, 570 yards and 3 TD’s. You’re right. 6 more catches and 130 less receiving yards and 1 more TD is way too lofty expectations to match McKenzie. McKenzie had Josh Allen throwing to him and Harty had Jameis Winston throwing to him. Which shouldn’t make a difference because Winston is just as good as Allen. Knox, Kincaid, Diggs and Davis will all get thrown to more. Probably Shakir too. I think people viewed Harty as the speed guy and not the answer guy.
-
I think every knows that Sherfield and Hardy are going to be the 5th and 6th options, especially since our 1st round pick is a pass catching flex TE. Who is having "lofty" expectations? Saying improvement is "lofty"?

Ally Bank has a 4% yield right now on their money market. I'm going to move a good amount of money in there and keep contributing to it.

I will definitely follow up. I appreciate the responses. I've been mostly saving for the last 5 or so years and now I'm ready to invest and need to do this smart.

You hit the nail here.

I am not sure exactly what it gets me. They are going to go over the agreement with me next week. I've never worked with Financial Investors before so I have no idea what a typical process is....or if I'm being taken advantage of.

So essentially, long term investing is probably the best and smartest path?

It's $1,250 is for the advisement fee regardless if I use my IRA or not. If I'm going to play the stock and use my IRA to do it, I could just sign up for Etrade or Robin myself.

My house is in Cherokee county even though my address is Alpharetta. The Fulton county line border is literally 100 yards away...Cherokee is so much cheaper. I paid about $4,000 last year on this house. My condo in downtown Alpharetta was actually around $2,600 so I am closer to $7,000 than $6,000.

It's a $1,250 a year to help me plan and advise on stocks.

That does seem like the most safe and logical plan. I think I'm just being impatient but I also want to take a risk. I'm kinda viewing it like it's free house money since I haven't done anything with it since like 2010. I currently have a 401K with my current company. I own one condo that I'm renting out that I'm going to sell once my tenant moves out. I keep researching articles on short term investing and covid slowed it down for a bit but its exploded since then and it's forecasted to continue the growth. People are able working from home more and more and are helping the short term investment market. I talked to a guy this weekend that is good friends with my brother. He owns a cabin in North GA and it stays rented all year round. Many people are from the city and just want to get out to somewhere peaceful to work for a bit. A vacation without having to take vacation days from work. He generates roughly $8,000 a month on average. After all expenses paid out, he's netting about $3,000-$3,500 a month. This is what I'm working towards and something like this would be used towards my retirement instead of the IRA. My assumption is the growth from the real estate would grow more than my IRA....which is why I'm willing to risk the IRA to invest in other entities.
