  1. I'm not saying "Bills had no chance" at all or even alluding to it. I brought up the other teams because it clearly seems that the offers/feeling wanted wasn't strong with them either. What I don't understand is you say "we don't know" basically in this recruiting process. But without knowing, you've determined we didn't make him feel wanted enough and he absolutely could have had him.
  2. The ranking is about right to me. But end of season is the true evaluation.
  3. Why didn't other teams roll out the red carpet for them?
  4. The underlined quote is meaningless because David didn't have a conversation with Von Miller? That's what matters? Not the Bills FO office? He confirmed that the Bills had interest in him. It doesn't matter whether or not you think he's lying about wanting to be with the Bucs, it's more about you stating the Bills didn't try....they did reach out to him.
  5. Come on. That would put zero, absolutely zero DT's under contract next year. You have no true and reliable 1 - Tech. Jordan Phillips has been injured the last 4 years...you're relying on him? He will go down this year. Who plays the 1-tech? You're really taking issue with us drafting Torrence because we have depth? That's like saying the Bengals didn't need to draft Jamar Chase because they had Higgins and Boyd. The Eagles shouldn't have drafted two DL this past year because they already had depth their? Since we didn't sign LaVonte David means we didn't try? https://www.syracuse.com/buffalo-bills/2023/03/lavonte-david-admits-one-thing-could-have-swayed-him-to-choose-buffalo-bills-over-buccaneers-in-free-agency.html “Yeah, I heard a little chatter (from the Bills),” David told Eisen. You know, it was basically when I was just starting to get a little tight with the Bucs. When I was about to, you know, the deal was about to get pulled (off), I heard a little chatter from the Bills. But I was already locked in with Tampa. It’s where I wanted to be for obvious reasons.”
  6. You measure a team by the entire roster. What is acceptable or what is not acceptable isn't measure by an opinion piece. It's measured by wins and losses. Every successful team doesn't have a top unit in every unit.
  7. I think NBC should consider adding Tasker to the SNF crew. He may be the best in the business and his talent is being buried in small market Buffalo. Some birds just aren’t meant to be caged.
  8. He was very concerned with Stefon Diggs before camp. Do you think he’s still concerned?
  9. Will he sell sea shells by the sea shore?
  10. No its not just the Bills. The entire leagues second and third day draft picks don’t start. Yes, it be absolutely one sided. In the last two draft classes from UGA, how many are regular starters or contributors? Like 3. Stetson Bennett is one of the most decorated college QB’s ever. He’s not good enough to start in the NFL but is good enough to beat an NFL team with college talent? Why was Johnny Manziel not able to dominate the NFL like he did in college?
  11. The fact that even without preparation, Manziel absolutely destroyed the SEC. The vast majority of 2nd, 3rd and 4th rounders don’t start. So these guys are just going to come in and not have any learning curve? Just immediately come in as a 4th rounder and play well enough to beat an NFL team. Its amazing to me you do the think the NFL game is more complex than college. These mid round picks just come in immediately and are good. Happens all the time right?
  12. I agree with everything however, I think this agent does what every agent does or would do for a big client.
  13. Don’t apologize for that. Instead, apologize for your beer…its all gross in England.
  14. LOL…I see it now. The sentence before the write up was “Bates played exclusively at 2nd team center…” So I thought he was talking about Bates with the write up.
  15. No he didn’t. He just said he took all the first team snaps and feels the competition is over. I’m looking for how he looked while on the field.
  16. He’s known as Kyla now.
  17. I think him opening up about this is showing he finally understands accountability. He didn’t make excuses, he admitted that it was him not working hard.
  18. Not a single current college player has ever seen NFL level coverage. I think it was Derek Anderson on an interview talking about Josh Allen his first year and challenges rookie QB’s usually face. He said in college, you’ll get about 5 different looks from the defense. In the NFL, its 20-25.
  19. This is a perfect example of the massive difference between NFL and College Football talent. Johnny Manziel didn’t even watch film and played hungover and carved up the great SEC. He obviously couldn’t do it in the NFL and even struggled mightily in the CFL. This should end the discussion if college football teams could beat an NFL team.
  20. There was talks years ago about Buffalo getting a baseball team. Do you think they could support one? I haven’t heard any recent talks.
  21. The metro area is 3.69 million. They can support all 4 major sports teams.
  22. 77 TD’s in HS…I mean wow.
