Every team does this. Every team has a practice squad of developmental players and guys who bounce around the league. Offensive lineman especially. That unit turns over more than others.

No. That's an average of 10 sacks over 20 year period. Or 13 sacks over a 15 year period. I don't think that's going to happen again. Von Miller and Aaron Donald are the best pass rushers in the last 15 years. Von Miller at age 34 is 73 sacks behind. Aaron Donald at age 32 is 98 sacks behind. The talent is up there for guys to do it but the longevity isn't.

Most of the players on the 1st string aren't fighting for spots. This quote is in reference to people trying to make the team which he's absolutely right. Which is why you shouldn't play starters vs 2nd/3rd/4th stringers in preseason games....those guys are playing for everything.

He has no problem sliding, stepping up or moving inside the pocket...one preseason game isn't going to think he's declining in that area.
