Well then you pay that guy as much as you pay Aaron Donald and Jeffrey Simmons in which we aren't. Oliver is currently the 12th high paid DT. And after this year, he will be probably in the 16-20 range. I can understand you being upset if we paid him like a top 3 DT but he's not anywhere close to that. He's being paid at his value. -

I used to dislike Oliver as well. But there's guys on here who understand how to break down film and have watched him a lot. It seems like you're just box score scouting and that's it. After watching the breakdown and getting a better understanding of it, he's definitely solid. Not dominant like we want, but he's solid. Because you don't play someone at the 3-tech to just be a tub of goo. You need someone that can penetrate. -

Oliver hasn't been a great finisher for whatever reason but he does generate pressure/hits/QB hurries. -
No it's not. When he was with us, he didn't play much other than being the 6th OL on jumbo packages. He wasn't the first tackle off the bench after Brown got hurt.

An off the ball linebacker who doesn't get to the QB is not more important or harder to find than a DT. We have seen DT's go #1 overall in the draft because they can wreck a game plan faster than anyone. -
You didn't answer his question.

Benford - Was he being showcased? (Opinion, not a rumor)
Royale with Cheese replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not Benford but to Elam....yes. Benford is our starter. -
I wouldn't say majority since most don't leave with a degree. I know 10 people that were drafted and/or invited to camp. One is a Financial Advisor, one is a coach at an ACC school and two others are HS football coaches. The rest are in maintenance either at a manufacturing plant/mill, automotive, furniture movers and one runs a junk removal business. They probably make $100,000 a year but it's not cushy and they are working a lot of OT.

I'm glad I didn't to make a career in the NFL. If you get invited to preseason/camp and you're cut, you automatically become a fry cook or burger flipper. Talk about taking a risk.

Elam now CB4 and playing kickoff coverage in the preseason

I’m wondering if he’s going to be inactive a lot. Siran Neal has position flexibility and plays Special Teams….he might be our 4th corner. -
You're not doing a very good job of wading because you're still getting kicked. Brian Cox, PhD in Particle Physics from the University of Manchester, believes it's possible. Let me guess...he's stupid https://www.iflscience.com/professor-brian-cox-predicts-it-wont-be-long-before-humankind-achieves-immortality-44111 "I don't think people's minds are different from computers because that would imply there's something non-physical about them," he continued. True (or strong) AI – machines that are at least as capable and flexible as humans – is possible, he says, according to the laws of quantum mechanics. But we're not quite at a point where we can build the equivalent of a human brain on a computer just yet. "I think we are at a cockroach level of simulating the nervous system right now." Another believer in the death-defying powers of technology is Ray Kurzweil, Google's Director of Engineering. In an interview with Slate in 2013, he told reporters, “I think I have a good chance – I would put it at 80 percent – of getting to the point where [life] becomes indefinite, because you’ll be adding more time than is going by to your remaining life expectancy.” By 2045, he predicts, we'll be able to effectively "back up" our consciousness onto a cloud, allowing us to live forever. And it is worth remembering that this is a man with a prediction success rate of 86 percent. For now, it all sounds like something out of a certain Black Mirror episode. Then again, it wouldn't be

Evans was smooth. Smooth doesn't just mean good cuts effortlessly. He was a 4.3 - 40 guy and he didn't look like one...he just ran by them effortlessly like he was gliding. Lofton was the same way but it looks more smooth because he had long legs and looked like a deer. I wouldn't say he was a great cut guy. Smooth is a huge benefit. Being smooth disguises a route better and you're easier to lose in coverage IMO. But yes, you need to have the complete package. I was just pointing out smooth players that weren't Hall of Famers. I think the excitement is you don't usually see a "smooth" tight ends. It's not his only positive trait. He has great hands.

Yesterday you cherry picked two games from 2 and 3 years ago as examples the Bills can't play with physical teams. "Well, I can't use 2022 because we beat them by a lot. Let me find other games in which help my example. Here we go, 2021 and 2020!" I thought Lee Evans was smooth in his time here. He just didn't have a good QB to be highlighted more.

Dude, you give the worst examples. First, yesterday you said we can't play against the physical teams like Pittsburgh and TN. It's crazy to me that you made that statement being that we beat them by 69 points total last year. How did we struggle against them?? You know who else really dropped? Travis Kelce in the 3rd round.

Isabella is definitely in favor of the coaching staff and it seems Allen likes him as a target. If it's between the two, its Isabella.
