Bills sign QB to PS-Shane Buechele
Royale with Cheese replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
I remember him! Dunston at SS Sandberg at 2nd Grace at 1st Girardi was the catcher? -
So there is no difference, but there is. Got it...WTF? Well if you're going to move the criteria for this, the Bengals are bigger losers than the Bills because they are more talented and are still inept. That analogy is pretty stupid. He once said any solider that has died in battle wasn't an elite shoulder because he didn't survive. If he was serious, it's pretty disgusting. If he wasn't, it's just shameful.

Do you know the definition of a double standard?
-
No it doesn't. You very, very clearly said that if you don't win the Super Bowl, you're a loser. So the Bengals have been losers as well.

I Am Not Optimistic Going Into This Season

I have James Cook as well. I have him in my bold predictions making an All Pro team. -
Kirksey signing with the Bills PS
Royale with Cheese replied to ndirish1978's topic in The Stadium Wall
The only thing that would hold him back is the injury, not the playbook. They just need to learn new terminology. Players get traded and play within that week with the new team all the time. Lawyer Milloy was signed September 3rd and started for our home opener on September 7th. We still have more than two weeks. -

But it's still the majority that do not start. But yes, he's gotten good starters but does lack the elite....I can agree with that. -

Which Bill isn’t being talked about enough for this upcoming season that you expect to have a real good year? -

So for the business side of it....why does he have to go to PS first? -

I think the only thing that would hold him back is his injury. Mentally I think he will be fine. -

He is an 8 year vet…he won’t need a lot of time to ramp up. I think he starts week 1. -

Very glad for him. Just imagine the stress of being a 2nd round pick and being a starter on a playoff team. The future looked bright for him probably from his perspective. Then a few years later, he's barely hanging on a 53. This is a tough business and he's seeing it.

The Allen-Diggs Relationship in Decline?
Royale with Cheese replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall
Stefon Diggs could walk into Applebees and pull attractive women. -
Hendrickson is the 3rd highest paid DE. Only Maxx Crosby and Myles Garrett make more per year. Hendrickson is not a bargain FA. We have had bargain FA's that became grand slams for us too....Micah Hyde and Jordan Poyer immediately come to mind.

The Cowboys have hit on their last 3 first round picks. Smith, Parson and Lamb. I don't know much about Washington but Johan Dotson was a great pick. -

Well you have to have context too. They hit on Burrow and Chase with the #1 and #5 overall draft pick. We haven't had that high of a draft pick with Beane accept the trade up for Allen at #7 in 2018. You expect to get an elite impact player in the top 5. Here's the 1st pick order between both teams in the last 3 years. The Bengals last 3 drafts....#35, #5 and #1. Our last 3 drafts....#54, #30 and #23. I didn't count this year for any team because they haven't played yet. -

https://www.forbes.com/sites/prishe/2015/05/22/tracking-nfl-draft-efficiency-how-contingent-is-success-to-draft-position/?sh=4409eada7495 1) Correlation between Draft Position and "Starter Status" Using Pro Football Reference as a resource, I looked at all players who were classified as starters at the beginning of the 2014 season to determine what round they were drafted in upon entering the league. Of the 595 players designated as such, the results reveal the following: - Nearly 30% of all starters were 1st round draft picks when drafted into the league; - Roughly 30% were taken in either the 2nd or 3rd round; - Roughly 26% were taken in either rounds 4 through 7; - Undrafted players (14%) were the 3rd most likely group to comprise 2014’s starters…only behind 1st round (30%) and 2nd round (18%) picks. -
I think the point is they are a billion dollar organization and these players are the ones who put fans in the seats and buy their jerseys....you can't give them free Gatorade? When I was in college, a mid major school, I didn't have to pay for Gatorade, gum, sunflower seeds, granola bars etc....

There was a former player that said the Cardinals would subtract the cost of shipping from your contract when they delivered it to you. Your signing bonus is $5 million...actually it's $4,995,000 because of the $5 for the stamp.
