Can James Cook break a tackle, ever?!?!
Royale with Cheese replied to zow2's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes, he can break tackles and gets yards after contact. Everyone is being so dramatic. -

You are going to expect the best DL to get pressure. Allen has got happy feet and made it look much more under pressure than he actually was. His pocket movement has regressed…he just bails now. -

When you turn the ball over 4 times, you’re the most to blame by far. Was him dropping the snap and then trying to run with it on the offensive line too? That was embarrassingly bad. -

Worst game Allen probably has ever played including HS and college. -
I think he's just not picking it up mentally. Yes he's more athletic and physically talented, he must look that bad in practice. We at least allowed Cody Ford to suck on the field before benching him. We're not even putting Elam on the field...fans don't see everything in a players development.

The latest as far as rain radar. Weather.com is saying it should clear by 7:30. I have the radar stopped at 8:07 and looks to have left the area....hopefully. -

Weather.com radar is showing that the rain should clear right around 8:00 pm. https://weather.com/en-MU/weather/radar/interactive/l/c3bf3ee1fc9e595b54341ae7e24dc9cfb8f675f649d2c0f55f288e745fcc0233 -

Did you know that it would take 100,000 years at the speed of light to get across the Milky Way galaxy? Now that's interesting.

He’s in concussion protocol.

https://thedraftnetwork.com/james-cook-more-snaps-buffalo-bills/ Cook has been particularly elusive. The former Georgia standout is averaging 2.99 yards after contact per attempt and has forced 16 missed tackles, per Pro Football Focus. A big play waiting to happen, Cook has accounted for 11 explosive (10-plus yards) gains as a ball-carrier. Four of Cook’s 11 explosive rushes have occurred in Buffalo’s last two games. LOL it's a wasted pick. The guy is our starting RB on a top offense. You have to be trolling at this point and I'm not going to continue. Lets just revisit this at the end of the season.

I wonder if the field is tarped. Rain is supposed to clear by game time but a heavy thunderstorm is coming around 5:00 and looks to be strong until close to 7:00 pm. -
LOL what? They're just going to let him continue to run down there throat? We face light boxes because we have an elite QB. The Bengals, Chiefs, Chargers and other teams that throw the ball very well face light boxes. Now we are going to be in 12 personnel, it's going to probably be more.
-
Just because you can't find one doesn't mean there isn't one. There are plenty of teams who would start a guy who basically lead the league in carries, in his second year and rookie contract who is going to be the #1 on a team that has been top 3 in NFL scoring for the last 3 seasons. Cook is going to solidify himself as a top 5 back this season. He's going to face a ton of light boxes with our 12 personnel.

Same energy as the last few years?

Last year was an emotional letdown and your brain in protecting you from feeling that again. -
I can see Hamlin being inactive for more games. James Cook who if he had 8 more carries last year, would have qualified for minimum attempts and would have lead the league in rushing per average. He wouldn't start for 31 other teams?
-
He physically looks 50. He really looks like an old man.

Allen was 8 for 21 in the second half. Let me guess, the rain didn’t effect Burrow today? Of course we had a hard time running the ball. They loaded the box to stop the run. To show you how bad the elements were, we still couldn’t throw against that stacked box. Kincaid is going to be lining up on the offense line a lot. We saw him lining up inline this preseason.
-
"One play proves everything" statement lol. It's honestly debatable that a WR is a better blocker than him inline? So basically Kincaid is a wasted draft pick. He's a tight end we're going to use in 12 personnel but his blocking is worse than a general WR because he didn't effectively block an All Pro in his second preseason game. Makes perfect sense.

Do you not believe there are differences in shower/rain and a thunderstorm? Its common sense when there is a lot of rain, you run more. Every team does it. So if it does thunderstorm with high winds, a down pour where there is low visibility for the WR to the ball and the is slick as a bar of soap....you want to continue to air it out all over the field? Well, you probably do. I mean you did say Allen "easily" threw it in the New England wind game where he had a 50% completion on 4.8 yards per pass. His career yards per attempt is 7.2 by the way.
