  1. I feel you read this in a fortune cookie.
  2. Beane has to know the fans hate this.
  3. He could identify as a female and be a great softball player.
  4. More pressure on him to get an athletic scholarship. It's up to him.
  5. I took money out of my son's college fund to buy tickets for this?
  6. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
  7. Your original point was the defense was overrated coming into the game and using the Jags game as an example. That’s the point I was arguing. They were #2 in defensive scoring before this Jags game. If we punt two less times, the Jags aren’t getting to 20. Given the circumstance, the defense played well. They kept the game within grabs and our offense blew it.
  8. Were the Chiefs missing Chris Jones, Nick Bolton, George K, Trent McDuffie, and L’Jarious Sneed? Do you think the Jags put up 200 yards on us if we had DaQuan Jones, Matt Milano, Tre White, Leonard Floyd, Christian Benford, Greg Rouseau and Von Miller or do those guys not move the needle much?
  9. They had 6 possessions! That’s only a little more than 30 yards per drive. Not to mention…11 points. You don’t put a depleted defense in that situation and expect positive results in which he actually had. If our offense does anything, the Jags are not getting 200 yards on offense by halftime. To answer your earlier question. I thought the defense played well, especially given the circumstances until the 4th when they were just way too depleted.
  10. Was our defense super talented on Sunday? Do you think the Jags score 9 on the Chiefs if the Chiefs didn't have Chris Jones, Karlafatis, Nick Bolton, Trent McDuffie and L'Jarious Sneed? We had a preseason DL playing. It seems as though you think back ups should have the same impact as starters. If it was one or two guys, yeah, I can understand. But we lost our best players at every level. We had 7-8 key defensive players out. You have to factor that in.
  11. I'm not the one who brought up one halftime stat as an indicator that a defense is overrated. I think the 49ers defense is great. But I used your halftime stats argument to show that it's not a strong one. You have to look at the context. You say you're factoring injuries but you're not. The score doesn't seem to matter to you. Let me ask you this. We play the Jets again this year. Lets play the scenario out just like the Jags game but for the Jets. 1st drive, Quinnen Williams goes down. 2nd drive, Mosley goes down. John Franklin Meyers can only play 20 snaps. Carl Lawson goes down early. Sauce Gardner is already out. Jermaine Johnson is already out. DJ Reed is already out. If that happens and by the 4th quarter, we have 11 points but over 200 yards offense....wouldn't you be pretty negative on the Bills offense? Or would you say the Jets defense was overrated?
  12. I guess that means the 49ers defense is overrated? They gave up 200 yards by half time against the Rams when the 49ers were healthy. And get this...on only 3 possessions! The Jags had 6 possessions on us. The Rams punted zero times by half time. The Bills punted 4 times by half time. Again, not to mention we were down Greg Rouseau, DaQuan Jones, Matt Milano, Leonard Floyd, Christian Benford and Tre White. Von Miller was on strict pitch count. A guy named Vickers playing edge. What would have happened if the 49ers were without Nick Bosa, Fred Warner, Charvarious Ward and Jason Hargrave? Do you think that would have factored negatively, positively or neutral?
  13. This happened late in the game when we were wore down and didn't have the adequate personnel. Look at it from the Jags fans perspective. You played a Bills defense that was without Leonard Floyd, Matt Milano, DaQuan Jones, Tre White, Christian Benford, very limited Von Miller and Greg Rousseauc, not to mention Oliver went down for a bit, Kingsley Jonathan went off twice and AJ is breathing though a machine.....and it took until the Bills 3rd/4th string players to be exhausted where one had to play out of position before you started scoring? You scored 11 points by 4th against a preseason roster defense. How did they prove it?
  14. We are being more aggressive which would lead to bigger plays. The alternative would be playing it safe, a read react defense like Frazier. We also probably are tops in the league in negative stops If you tell me we are going to give up big plays but we effect the QB consistently, get sacks, turnovers and holding teams to 16 ppg per game....I will 100% take it. Our 3rd down defense is 13th right now but it was top 5 prior to the Jags game. The Jags offense would have continued to suck if we were at least semi healthy. That number will go back down and I should be top 10 by the end of the year.
  15. 100% agree. Even though we dismantled the Dolphins, I am more afraid of them. If McDermott can slow the offense twice, without our two best defensive players....I mean that would be incredible. The Dolphins just have so much firepower that it just takes a big play or two to stretch our defense.
  16. The simple concept is they both are equally at fault when the TOP is that unbalanced. If the offense picks up first downs, they keep the ball. That means, in this case, Trevor Lawrence stays on the sidelines. Since they keep giving the ball to Lawrence and giving him extra possessions, our offense is contributing to their TOP. It is the exact same way for the defense. If they stop them, they get off the field. Since they didn't, they stayed on the field. So again, the offense and defense in this game are equally responsible for the lopsided TOP. It's not the defense was more responsible or the offense was more responsible, they both were equally responsible. The offense kept giving the Jaguars the ball. The defense kept themselves on the field. We punted more in the first half than we did in the first 4 games combined. Multiple people are trying to explain this to you and you simply cannot grasp this.
  17. Incredible. Simply incredible.
  18. That’s true but JJ did have surgery. He had surgery on October 26th and his first game back was the Bills WC game. Watt started practicing on December 19th.
  19. What is the earliest they could be designated to return? 8 weeks? Not expecting them to be ready, just curious how long IR is now.
  20. First of all, no we didn't. Second of all, that one 300 yard game in OT against the Dolphins. Is that your proof that McDermott held back Taylor from throwing 300 yards or something? That 5 quarter gave Taylor 317 yards. Is this really your proof? You're not being serious are you? He's not legitimately this dumb. No one can be. This is just stubbornness at the highest level.
  21. LOL Here's you being firm that it's on defense. You were blasted (like usual) about these posts. The Bills punting 6 out of their 7 possessions, you wouldn't acknowledge. Its just because of the defense lol.
  22. LOL Tyrod Taylor in his entire career has 1 - 300 yard passing game. Just one. He has played in 85 games and 6 different teams and he has 1 - 300 yard passing game. So his entire career, he hasn't been able to throw the ball and McDermott was to blame? McDermott is to blame for when Tyrod couldn't do it with the Giants, Ravens, Browns, Chargers, Texans and Giants because of McDermott?
  23. Aren't you the guy that the concept of TOP is too complicated?
  24. I really, really hope he can get it right this week. We don't need another back up DT rushing from the edge.
