  1. So the Bills defense is the reason why the offense isn't scoring? Tampa Bay that year also was 3rd in the league in offensive scoring. How were they able to score and we aren't? Our high score in the last 5 games is 24 points. We had a stretch where we were only scoring like 4 points in the first half on average. So we aren't an offense that can overcome defensive adversity then it seems. You're saying our offense is predicated on how the defense plays.
  2. The Giants defense is good? They are 24th in defensive scoring. 21st overall. 30th in turnovers. The Dolphins, Raiders, Cowboys and 49ers put up 30+ on them and weren't held scoreless through 3 quarters.
  3. Being injured on defense doesn't mean you can't score on offense. This is basically saying the Bills offense are not capable of winning shoot outs. Our offense is healthy for the most part. Being injured on defense doesn't mean a defense as bad as the Giants hold you scoreless through 3 quarters.
  4. I can't read the article because of the paywall. We can all see with our eyes that this offense is struggling because of both execution and scheme. We used to be an offense where it didn't matter if we were pinned inside the 10 on a punt or turnover. They moved fluidly down the field and had big plays....scored points. The offense within themselves are not playing well regardless of the surrounding circumstances.
  5. Statistically they are similar but it's not the same. Dorsey's is more clunky and no rhythm. Daboll had periods of struggle but he figured it out and we came back with a boom.
  6. I’m seeing Bill Burr tonight. Go Bills.
  7. A Beautiful Mind. Sometimes, the Bills look like geniuses. Just destroying teams....it's a beautiful work of art. Other times, you're like "damn....I wish they could snap out of it because that sucks".
  8. I wouldn't call it ancient history when it's a lot of the same components. But yeah, this year is different. We suck right now.
  9. You specifically worded it "HE QUIT" in all caps because it's a negative slant towards McDermott. Now you're trying to use that you're right because of a technicality lol? So if you were a sports writer, would your headline be...."Brian Daboll QUITS the Buffalo Bills to become the HC of the NYJ" I know there is tension, everyone can see it. I'm not arguing that. The context is all of them are promotions. This isn't the first or last HC/Coordinator that didn't get along.
  10. Someone on here said that's one rumor they heard....Daboll was a hothead and that got under McDermott's skin.
  11. So every time an Assistant Coordinator gets promoted to a HC role, they quit? Shanahan quit the Falcons? Saleh quit the 49ers? Siranni quit the Colts?
  12. I'm not sure what you're watching but when I say it's not even close, it's not even close. So no, it's not just a few blow outs. What are you watching?
  13. \ The Bills since 2020 lead the league by a wide margin in point differential. They are in the least amount of nail biters of any team in the NFL.
  14. That could be it. I think it could be as simple as their personalities just don't get along. McDermott is a buttoned up, disciplined and very organized guy. Probably irons his polos and makes his bed to a perfect hotel quality tuck every morning. Doesn't like comedies like Office Space and Super Troopers. His comedy interests are probably Grumpy Old Men and 3 Men and a Baby. Daboll caught hitting that vape more than once on TV and he was probably ripping that all the time at OBD, loud, a little sloppy, probably gets pizza cheese on his beard and doesn't wipe it off. Probably has the smell of Buffalo Trace and weed on his breath in the mornings. Loves Office Space and Super Troopers....probably Mr. Bean.
  15. I really don't think their defense is tested at all. The Chargers are always a disappointment and the Dolphins can't play with anyone that's decent. I don't think there's a great team in the NFL right now. I really don't. All the top win teams have big flaws right now.
  16. Its the only thing given me any hope right now. Well, KC is also struggling on offense and eventually these teams figure it out because they have been good for so long. Thats it. Nothing of concrete evidence that is giving me hope, its all faith because its all I have.
  17. Allen made the right read, Harty is our speed guy 1 on 1. Either the throw was bad or the route wasn't ran at the spot it needed to be.
  18. I can't tell how he feels. Can someone loop me in?
  19. Why is 24 points too much for our offense to overcome? Our TOP was bad because on our 3 punts, we ran 10 plays. Our INT was on 2 plays. If it takes only 24 points on defense to give us a 10-20% chance of winning?
  20. We gave up 3 second half points. Our D kept us in the game.
  21. Cincy had a total of 9 drives and scored 3 TD's and 24 points total. I'm confused on how you're saying the injuries are valid, but immediately say they played like garbage to it's really not an excuse. Its like you're saying an injury filled Bills defense should be able to stop the fully healthy Bengals offense. Why is 24 points enough to beat the Bills? So the Cowboys get accolades for 3 straight 3 and outs but our defense gives up 3 points in the ENTIRE 2nd half and that's just too much or something? Phantom false start? What Tim Settle's roughing the passer a phantom call or legit?
  22. As far as a coaching resume, Schwartz might be one of the most inconsistent DC's I can think of. His graph chart is definitely a W shape.
  23. So basically for every over thrown ball because of a miscommunication needs to be a penalty. That's what the rule stated yesterday.
