  1. I doubt there will be any legal issues. It was the NFL's doctor opinion of the tests they ran. It is called practicing medicine for a reason. I am sure all the teams have access to the tests and scans so they can come to their own conclusions but they just dont make them public for obvious reasons. Maybe the teams doctors agree with the doctor at the combine and maybe they dont.
  2. I have a hard time seeing a team trade up into the top five or six from outside of the top ten for a defensive player. The Bills moved up for Edmunds but that is after he slid in the draft quite a bit.
  3. I think Beane saw Yeldon as a better option than any 4th round RB in the draft. To me Beane might be looking Bryce Love with one of the 5th round picks knowing he wont be able to play til the 2020 season. The Bills can stash him away knowing no other team is going to sign him away from them.
  4. I think he drops out of the first round. Mike McGlinchey was picked 9th last year and he has a 4 yr 18 mil deal fully guaranteed. I doubt Beane gives a contract like that to a player he has any health concerns about.
  5. Just like most drafts the cant miss players will be gone by pick 5 or 6. For the first time in a long time I am confident in a Bills GM that will make the right pick for what they are trying to do. There will be multiple players at #9 that will not be a reach and can help the Bills. It will be a matter of opinion as to who likes the pick or not but the player will be worthy of being picked there. I think most draft guys can make educated guesses but I doubt there are any leaks coming from OBD.
  6. Direct TV will lose a ton of customers if they dont have Sunday Ticket. I would definitely cancel. I dont stream any games online. I like to get stuff done Sunday morning and start the game about an hour and a half after it starts to fast forward commercials and half time. Usually leaves me catching the 4th quarter live.
  7. I dont see a player that the Bills would trade their early round draft capital for. I can see the Bills moving back into the 3rd round giving away later round picks. The Bills dont need all ten picks but they need 1st through 3rd desperately.
  8. I think if the Bills dont get a RB they like in the 3rd or 4th round then they will sign Yeldon after the draft. Good move for a 3rd RB.
  9. If the Bills fixed the Oline protection and Allen improves, then the run game will improve. The Bills need to be in more situations where they are playing with the lead than last season. When you have the lead you can run the ball more and complete short passes to keep the chains moving. Even in close games if the passing situation is improved, the defense has to respect it which allows you to be more productive on the ground.
  10. No they shouldnt. Right now he is a rotational player. Work out a new contract based on that, not what he might become.
  11. I would be surprised if the Bills go TE at #9. There are some good TE's coming out. I think Sternberger in the 3rd would be an awesome pick for the Bills if he is there. That being said Hockenson is a top ten talent so I wouldnt be heart broken if they picked him.
  12. The 4.53 40 isnt going to blow anyone away but I read that he said he hits top speed at about the 50-60 meter mark. When younger he ran 100m sub 11 seconds. I know he is older , playing in pads, and the average play in the NFL isnt very long but it would be nice to know that one possible RB on the Bills roster has take it to the house speed.
  13. Aside from being an athletic freak, what has DK done in college that says he will be an NFL superstar? He only had one decently productive season. The other seasons he got hurt. All the other top ten picks have been dominant in college for at least their senior season. I am not saying he wont be a difference making WR but AJ Brown has had twice the production.
  14. So the logic here is to take the second best defense in the NFL and change it to something completely different based on a rookie??
  15. how many teams actually have a legit #1 WR? Many teams have won a lot of games without having a #1.
  16. I will say Beane has drawn up some nice plans, cleared the land, and has laid a good foundation.....lets wait until the thing is built to see how it performs.
  17. I am not certain how a retractable roof would hold up to snow. I just mentioned the retractable roof due to it probably being more expensive than a dome or a partial fixed roof.
  18. Cardinals stadium was built for under 500 million with a retractable roof and the whole field slides outside of the stadium on railroad tracks. It is a grass field. Construction costs in NY and AZ are different and the Bills will have to do more infastruction work but I would not be surprised if the stadium comes in around 500-600 million mark.
  19. I would agree with you. The only way that Keim saves face is if Bidwell is calling the shots. Keim may want to stay with Rosen and build around him in the draft. They didnt sign any free agents on offense, just defense. If the Cardinals pick Murray 1st overall and he doesnt live up to the billing, the Cardinals are going to be the new Browns. The Cards have a hard enough time filling the stadium now, they wont be able to give away tickets. I hope they go WR with their 2nd round pick because when Fitz retires, they will have nobody.
  20. McBeane will be given 2-3 more years depending on circumstances. They have to be given time for their QB to get experienced and to be able to build a team around him. Last year they got their QB but still had to clean up the mess from previous front office. This season is their first season to build the team how they see it with ample cap space and going BPA in the draft. For the first time in a long time, the Bills have depth at various positions. They may or may not make the playoffs this coming season but I get the feeling they will be competitive in every game they play.
  21. I would assume clearing land, clearing buildings, and access in and out would be part of the proposal. Just for parking alone they would need probably over 300 acres. I can see seating capacity around 65k. Cardinals stadium seats 63k. I went to Garth Brooks there this past weekend...70k people. Sat in the parking lot for over an hour before we could even get out of our parking spot and there is a freeway right next to the stadium with multiple access points. Going to Bills games now is fairly easy to get in and out of. Dont expect the same if they put the stadium anywhere close to downtown.
  22. I think if you open the holes, RB's can run through them no matter what their age is. How many times were the Bills RB's tackled in the backfield, hit before they get to the LOS, or basically fall forward for a yard in a pile because of no holes to run through. I dont think there will be any drop off between Shady and Gore. One thing about Gore is he can pass protect when that isnt Shady's specialty.
  23. I think the Bills are fine with starting LB's but I think the depth is lacking. I dont see the Bills going LB before the 4th round.
  24. I dont think Fisher has an impact on the FB spot. I think Fisher has a good chance at making the team because he will be the best blocking TE in the NFL who can squirt out to catch a pass here and there.
  25. We will have to see how the draft unfolds but I am not sure I see the Bills trading to get back into the first round. I can see them making moves to get an extra 2nd or 3rd round pick. I think they use one of their 5th round picks on a punter. The top 3 punters in the draft average around 45 yards. The rest of the picks can be used as collateral.
