  1. I dont know enough about him to call him a thug but just from watching the video he did enough to land himself in jail. Putting your hands on someone who is part of the staff who is backing away would get you arrested most places.
  2. Beasley is the guy I am most excited about. I think he can move the chains if Allen can connect with him.
  3. I dont see Tyree making the roster. Practice squad most likely. Obviously all the other teams thought he was too far away from being NFL ready. If someone does snag him off of the Bills PS then who cares? It isnt like he has any chance of getting playing time unless catastrophic injuries happen to Allen and Barkley. Even then it wouldnt surprise me if the Bills went looking for a veteran QB to sign.
  4. So 56 catches on 66 targets over 8 yrs is bad hands? I couldnt find anywhere that he credited with any drops.
  5. Just because a player gets released doesnt mean he cant contribute to another team. Clay signed pretty quickly with the Cards. I think your expectations are too high if you are expecting the Bills to sign star players with each signing. I know everyone was hoping for a trade for Rudolph but that prob isnt in the cards. 7 mil salary and he would prob want an extension seeing it may be his last contract.
  6. You are correct.....it is a financial decision in both creating revenue and avoiding paying lawsuits. If you were the Bills and bus/limo companies were making money off of your product and on your property.....wouldnt you do something to capture some of that revenue? I wonder how many law suits have been filed against the Bills and either settled or dismissed for parking lot injuries. This is probably a step in fighting any future law suits in that the Bills have provided a tail gate area that is "safe". Separating people from their bus gives them no reason to be jumping off the bus. Also the bus can act as a barrier so that Police cannot view what is going on. I am sure the NFL has had some influence into the Bills getting it cleaned up.
  7. Lots of other stadiums I have been to have a team sponsored tail gate area. I have been to many Cardinals games and they have a tail gate area. They have a huge shaded area with lounges, seats, TVs, ect. They also have a large lawn area they have bands play. I dont remember seeing a specific area for buses to park and party. They have an RV lot but it is more mellow tailgaiting. I remember going to a Bills home game when Bruce came back with the Redskins. After the game we were dodging beer bottles being thrown across the parking lot. I usually go to a Bills game a season and I have had no problems recently but I can definately see some tail gate groups drinking to excess. Maybe I am getting old but I prefer sitting in a lawn chair watching other NFL games while drinking beer before going into the game.
  8. I have seen it mentioned here many times about DK catching bombs. That is a fun play but how many bombs are caught each game? Not many and the Bills already have two guys who can get down the field for bombs. Guys that will get open and move the chains is what keeps the offense on the field. A lot can happen in a year but I will be interested to see the talent level of WR's in next years draft compared to this years.
  9. They will get 2-3 more yrs to take their plan to reality. The difference between todays Bills and the Bills of the past is night and day. It is refreshing to see a plan and leadership. I dont think anyone can disagree with the moves Beane made in free agency. Just about every contract was team friendly. Every position cannot be fixed correctly in one offseason but the Bills are more talented this season than they were last season.
  10. So you want to trade for Clowney and give him a mega deal when he has never had double digit sacks......you know Ansah can be given a good 2 or 3 year deal and he has had multiple double digit sack seasons. Trade a first for Green is crazy talk. Green is a fine WR but he is not going to put the Bills over the top and he is on the tail end of his career. Next years draft could have multiple Greens in it and you want to go into that draft with no #1 and no #2. Why would TB take a 6th for Brate? That is essentially saying I will give you a practice squad player. Super Bowl run this season is pipe dream. Build the team. Draft good players and sign free agents. Josh Allen is the key to it all. His development will be the key the Bills playoff runs
  11. As a WVU alum I watched just about every game over the past years. Sills can get separation and he doesnt drop many balls. He doesnt have a lot of experience as a WR. He wasnt asked to do a lot of blocking down field because WV wasnt a big running offense with all the WR weapons they had. So there may be questions about his frame and blocking ability. I just watched the games but didnt study his film so I am not sure how many different routes WV asked him to run. Slants, go routes, and fades is where he caught a lot of balls. He did play in the Big 12 which isnt known for defense. Sills production was almost identical the past two years. He had a lot of TD's but he also shared the field with Jennings, Simms, and Wesco. Jennings and Wesco were both drafted. Simms stayed in college. I am not sure if Sills makes the team this year but he will definitely make it a tough decision. I think it will come down to his route running and blocking. He is a huge red zone target who will go up to get the ball. He is very reliable.
  12. Depends on the talent and the fit to the system. Barkley could have prob played in any system. I think Lindsay had talent that flourished in the right system. He was wasnt drafted but signed for depth but beat out Booker.
  13. Actually it wasnt considered to be a deep class of WR's. The most hyped WR didnt have the production to match and every team passed on him multiple times. There were a few guys that were considered first round picks....only two went at the end of the first round so they were not considered impact players. The rest of them were graded out in the 2nd to 5th rounds. This draft had quantity but lower on quality. That doesnt mean some of those WRs wont turn out to be good starters it just means that there wasnt a lot of first round talent dropping to the second and third rounds. The talk is about the 2020 draft for WR and RBs. I thought the Bill would pick Bryce Love with one of their 4ths to get him into the system and ready to play in 2020. I dont have anything against Singletary and the Bills getting him into the system to learn and get some snaps. Likely Gore and McCoy wont be here after 2019. Wouldnt surprise me if the Bills pick another RB in next years draft.
  14. Not all teams have a legit #1 WR because they are hard to come by. If the Bills thought that Johnson could be that guy, they would have picked him already.
  15. how do you know he fits what the Bills are doing? Has anyone on this page talked to him personally about X's and O's? Every team has passed on him multiple times. WR's are being drafted that were ranked way below him. Harmon dropped to the 6th round when everyone thought he was a 2nd rounder. Never know what teams are looking for.
  16. if he didnt go to college in Buffalo, would anyone really care about him?
  17. If the Bills didnt think a 3rd round WR would beat out who they currently have, why pick him? You can only get so many impact players out of one draft.
  18. The Bills can fix that after the draft if they can work a deal for Ansah.
  19. I am not sure why people are confused they went RB. He isnt the RB I thought they would pick.....I was thinking Bryce Love in a later round and let him sit for the season. The Bills have two RBs at the end of their great careers that wont be under contract after this season. Ford and Murphy are not players that are going to make a difference. Get a young RB into the system and let him learn while getting some snaps in relief. It woudnt surprise me if the Bills pick a RB in next years draft too. I always think it is funny that fans watch highlights of players or watch college games and think they know more about players than NFL teams.
  20. I think the only positions the Bills wont pick in the second are DT, C, RB, and QB. The rest of positions are open. After the first round I think there are groups of guys that are ranked about the same so you have options. If the Bills have a player with a first round grade or high 2nd then I think they pick him.......CB and OT are most likely.
  21. Do you know something none of the other draft gurus know? AJ is quick and gets separation but he just doesnt have elite top end speed. He had over 1200 yards each of his last two seasons. I dont want the Bills to pick DK or AJ but that doesnt mean they are bad players. If the Bills decide to go WR in the 2nd my pick would be Kelvin Harmon. I wouldnt be surprised if the Bills went OT or CB in the 2nd since a lot of talent is still there.
  22. Alot of talent is going to be available in the 2nd. I can see the Bills trading back into the 2nd after they pick.
  23. As a WVU alum I would love for the Bills to draft Sills or Jennings. Both have a lot of upside as WRs.
