  1. Going to the Pats game Dec 2 and maybe the Chargers game
  2. I think a lot of corners get burned in one on one situations. I also think the Bills safeties were terrible last season. I think with a corner friendly scheme and better safety play then Darby and Seymour can have productive years.
  3. If Whaley can get two impact players from this draft and have Shaq/Ragland have good years, then I think Whaley will be safe.
  4. Why would the Bills use a 2nd round pick for a back up running back? The Bills can sign Joique Bell, DeAngelo Williams, James Starks, or Rashad Jennings to team friendly deals to be a back up RB.
  5. This would have been an easy way to settle it but there is no way to know that MG would have signed it if he had the chance to hear offers from other teams.
  6. I like MG just like everyone else but he also ran behind a good run blocking Oline and was always fresh because Shady ran so much. I would be curious to see how MG does playing more behind a worse run blocking Oline. Blount had a similar 40 time as MG but Blount is 30 pounds heavier.
  7. Wouldnt it be worse for the salary cap to give MG another $mil a year for no reason? Would you pay over asking price for a house that you were the only bidder on to make sure nobody else comes along and makes an offer? I wouldnt.
  8. Because it feeds the people who say the Bills always make bad decisions.
  9. I dont see what is so thick headed about this. I am sure the Bills offered MG a multi year deal and he wanted to see what he was worth on the market. If you tender him at a 2nd round you are locked into paying him 2.8 mil a season because nobody is going to give up a 2nd for him. If you tender him at originial round then you pay him 1.8 mil a season unless someone signs him to an offer sheet. Then you either match it or say good luck.
  10. I hope the Bills match it but if they dont then I wont lose any sleep over it.
  11. Whaley is far from the best but I dont think he is the worst. Lets see how this draft pans out. If he can get two impact players from this draft and see results from last years draft, then I believe his job is safe. If Watkins can have an injury free year with some big numbers, it will lessen the sting of the Bills moving up to get him.
  12. If the Bills go WR at #10 then I say Davis. Williams would be a second but I think Davis is the more complete WR
  13. I dont think the Bills should trade up to get anyone. If the QB is there at ten that they love then I wont like it but I will understand it. I am hoping they go with an impact player but we will see.
  14. The Bills will pick up his option. If they dont and end up putting the franchise tag on him then they have to pay him more money rather than locking him up now. Eventually the injury bug will stop biting and he will show off his talent. I dont think the new coaches will ignore him on offense.
  15. He has a good arm and throws a nice ball. I would like to see his short passing game and how he does against better competition.
  16. I cant stand Sully. He is beating up the Bills for doing their homework and kicking the tires on the top QB's. Now if the Bills didnt have QB visits, didnt pick one in the draft and one of them because a good starting QB, Sully would be the first one in line to take his shot at the Bills.
  17. How much cap room do you think the Bills have? Depending who which players make up the top 51, the Bills have less than 10 mil in cap space.
  18. I dont get what people are upset about. Hogan wanted to play somewhere else. It just happened that the Pats gave him a big offer that the Bills had no interest in matching. I read somewhere that the Bills gave an offer to MG. He is going to use offers from other teams to estimate his worth, then Bills will match it if there is an offer and all will be well again.
  19. what the Bills do at 10 will be a result of what the Bears, Jets, and Chargers do ahead of them. All of these teams could potentially pick a QB. IF any of them pick a QB it may cause the Bills to pick a QB thinking there may not be a top QB left for their pick in round 2. If those teams go with a different need, then the Bills could think the QB's will drop to later picks or the Bills may trade back and still pick the QB they like. IF those teams pick a QB that will mean the chances are good a top safety drops to the Bills at 10.
  20. I agree. I am hoping one of the top safeties falls to the Bills at 10. I dont think any QB in this draft is worth the 10th pick. I think if Mahommes is there in the second then the Bills would take him.
  21. Then the question would be do you risk a top ten pick on a project that may develop into a quality starter?
  22. I agree with the first part. The second part of your post remains to be seen because the "we" has changed. Whole new staff so nobody knows exactly what kind of offense will be run and how they will develop players.
  23. I just like that the Bills are kicking the tires on top prospects that could be there when they pick. Even though whoever they pick may or may not be a great NFL starter, it makes me feel good that this will not be a CJ Spiller pick.
  24. I think they may set up visits with the players that they are interested in and that may be available with the tenth pick. The Bills will be meeting with a couple other players before the draft.
  25. That would be an interesting topic. I think it would come down to a decision between Whaley and McD as to who has the highest ceiling and is the best fit for McD's scheme. I own my company and I dont always need to like something as long as it works.
