I dont get it either. I understand he wanted to hold out for better offers but it isnt like he had a mega contract before. At this point I would think he should be rethinking his offer unless he is going to wait until someone gets hurt this season.

what makes you think he was the #3 corner. He wasnt playing with the 1's or 2's in preseason very much

I thought Reilly played well in the preseason but people on here are making him out to be some stud. He mostly played against back ups. What if in practice he wasnt doing so well against starters or wasnt grasping the offense.

I cancelled my Sunday Ticket after last season. I just called the loyalty line and with no haggling at all I was given a $55 credit for 12 months, free showtime, and free sports channels. Better than Sunday Ticket for free. Next Sept I will call back and do it all again.

I would say Andre Holmes. I expected better things from him.

I have more of a problem with guys kneeling during the national anthem than raising a hand in the air. It is their right to do it but I dont agree with it.

Nelson would be a good pick up. I just dont want to see the Bills over spend to get him.

Let MCD and Beane build the team they want to build. I dont think we have ever seen a GM come in and make as many moves as Beane has. I like all the draft picks they are collecting which will hopefully translate to at least 3 long term starters. I am willing to wait 2 or 3 yrs to see what kind of team we have then.....not because I want to, but because I have no other choice.

Lets not forget that he was guaranteed 20 million and 25 million of his contract had to be paid in the first three years. Front loaded. This for a WR that was good but not great.

No thanks on Johnson. He doesnt fit what the Bills want in a player. I would rather the Bills keep Shorts on the team rather than Johnson.

Why does everyone want the Bills to look at every player that hits the scrap heap. Especially from a worse team

I hate when I see people saying tank. The Bills are not trading Taylor or McCoy. The Bills are only slightly less talented after the trades than they were before. It wont be the reason for losses. I see the Jets, Browns, Jags, and 49ers all picking ahead of the Bills next year. Hopefully more than just two of the top QB's declare for the draft.

Sammy is going to seek top WR money. Why would anyone pay him that when he hasnt proved he can be healthy and play a full season?

Whaley made a horrible trade moving up to get Watkins. If Watkins had played up to his potential then the Bills would have locked him up with a contract extension or picked up his option. Watkins is a good WR with a lot of potential. It pains me to say it but he is no OBJ or Mike Evans. Watkins has flashed great skill but has not played on the same level as Julio Jones, OBJ, AJ Green, and Jordy Nelson. Stop living in the past. The notion that the Bills would not pay him if he was a star does not apply anymore. The Bills are not going to dump a good player because they dont want to pay him.

It was only preseason but I didnt think Boldin looked that great. His quickness has suffered. I am sure he realized that the Bills were not a playoff team and decided to hang it up.

I think the Bills got only slightly worse at WR and got better at CB. The draft picks they received makes all the difference. I dont really care if Sammy has a great year for the Rams or not. The Bills will still be competitive this season and will load up with more talent in the first three rounds in the draft.

I took that comment to mean he is still getting back into football shape after the foot injury. Funny how a lot of people automatically take it as the Bills are not doing a good enough job.

I dont see where Taylor gets traded. The Bills need a QB with some experience for this season. Peterman will not be ready to start.

I just like that for the first time in a long time the Bills have exciting options. They will have capital to make trades and cap room in 2018 to sign a free agent if need be.

Beane is not going to trade anyone without McD knowing about it. I am sure McD knew there were teams interested in Watkins as well as other players. If McD loved Darby, I am sure he would be pissed if he got traded out from under him. McD may not have known that all the details got worked out until after the game. Also Taylor didnt have to go to Watkins every pass. He could have spread it around. Taylor may have wanted Sammy to test that foot.

It was very unlikely that Watkins would have resigned with Buffalo. According to most draft experts, the 2018 draft will have 4-5 QB's that could go in the first round including at least 2 that could be top 5 picks.

I am so sick of seeing Hughes taking bad penalties. Glad they are trying to hold him accountable.

At some point the Bills need to commit to a HC/GM and let them work together to build "their" team. The Bills have talent so they wont be a 4 or 5 win team. Let Beane and McD draft the players they want to. If the Rams suck this season the Bills could have 3 picks in the top 35.

Is he elite when healthy? I have always been a Watkins fan and I think he is very good but he hasnt shown he is elite in my opinion.
