  1. what area of Ortho are you in? My wife is an Ortho PA as well...hips and knees.
  2. Anytime a starter has trouble staying healthy it is cause for concern. I was looking forward to seeing what Murphy can do so I hope he is healed by the start of the season.
  3. Looks like that huh? More like supportive. She has more Bills gear than I do 49ers. I have the military 49ers hat I wear once a year. I will never have the passion for another team like I do the Bills but I will be watching Jimmy G this season.
  4. I havent sat in the seats you are talking about and didnt know they had them. My wife is a die hard 49ers fan so we go to that game every season so I have to wear a 49ers hat for a day. We usually sit in the lower section and I have nothing but good things to say about it. I like being able to walk around the concource, be able to see the field and not be nut to butt with the person in front of me. The bathroom lines go quickly, and there is every type of food or drink you want.
  5. I totally agree. I usually come to town for a game a season. Went to the Pats game in early Dec and couldnt find a bar that had anything other than beer. Other stadiums have full bars, margarita stands, ect. Maybe it is the liquor license, not sure. By the time the current lease is up, New Era will be 50 yrs old. I cant see the Bills extending the lease. It will be time for a new stadium. It doesnt have to be super fancy, it just has to be functional. Dome, larger concources, more bathrooms, more concessions, ect. The Cardinals stadium cost about $500 million and is a great facility.
  6. There is a difference between in not being accurate and not making the right read as a WR. One throw Allen threw it to a different spot than where the WR was and he tapped his chest that it was his fault. There were several drops of good passes as well. I didnt see Allen missing open WR's. He threw several passes that were on the money so the receiver can get extra yardage. The pass to Lee off of his back foot was ill advised but he put it in a spot that only Lee was tall enough to get. Allen is going to misfire on throws. Whenever Allen plays he is going to miss on some throws.....just like every QB starting out.
  7. I am not down on Jones. He dropped some but also had a lot of uncatchable balls thrown his way. He made some good catches and made some plays. I want to see how he does with a more aggressive QB that is not afraid to take chances.
  8. The Bills need camp legs running routes for the QB's. No way he makes the team.
  9. That would require an optimistic view point which is frowned upon here.
  10. I like his last name as much as anyone but saying he is going to be their starter is a stretch. He made some good throws but also made some bad decisions. The one pass should have been a pick six if that DB could catch. I would like to see him make more throws while under pressure or avoiding pressure. A lot of his throws were from a clean pocket which nobody around him. He did make some good plays with his feet and seems like the passes he made were in the right spot. I am curious to see what his deep ball looks like because it looks like he is putting everything he has on throws over 10 yards.
  11. It is Ron Woofley. He played for the Cardinals for 7 yrs but is originally from Blasdell
  12. I am not too concerned about him this year. He will make some plays and learn. Next year he should blossom.
  13. I dont think a player is defined by one play. Even if Coleman ends being another Goodwin for the Bills he is a steal for the 7th round pick.
  14. I think the biggest adjustments to the NFL for college QB's is the speed of the game and learning an NFL offense in a short period of time. If a QB had some exposure to a pro style offense in college like Allen did, then he is ahead of the game. Allen has to learn from his mistakes....he will make them and it will be painful until he learns from them. Once a QB knows the offense like the back of his hand then his skills will either show or they wont. Expectations should not be high for rookie QB's. I think it was George Seifert that said you dont know what you have in a QB until his third season.
  15. It will depend on how many WR's the Bills keep. KB, Jones, McCould, and Streater seem like the top 4 right now. The will leave one or two spots at WR.
  16. This what I dont understand. A ton of college QB's that had great numbers didnt do much in the NFL. Playing QB is more than stats alone. For a QB to be successful it takes the right combo of system, coaching, and talent around him. How does anyone know what kind of QB he will be even before he gets drafted??
  17. I dont think your evaluation is worthless. I am sure you probably watch more game tape than most people. I just wonder how complete of a picture you can get without all the other info. QB's usually get drafted a higher than their grade. Maybe the NFL put a higher grade on his potential and intangibles?
  18. This is something I dont understand. Unless you are in scouting circles or subscribe to same scouting service NFL teams use, all you have is game tape so how would you know if he was a first, second, or third round grade? You dont have access to his college coaches, players, and practice film. Aside from obvious mistakes you cant always tell by watching game tape if Allen made the right choice or wrong choice based on his reads. If you dont know the play design, how do you know if the WR ran the right route, didnt make the same read as the QB, or what the Oline blocking assignments were suppose to be? How do you know what he is like in the locker room or after games? Never speaking to him, how do you know his personality or football IQ?
  19. I would be good with going after Bell as long as the Bills fix their Oline this season and next.
  20. I think for the next 5 yrs anytime the Bills need RB depth that fans here will be throwing Freds name in the ring.
  21. Good thing Eddie Lacy is still out there. HA
  22. Here is my wild stab at it.....she was assaulted, lost jewlery, losing her house so she blamed Shady. Maybe out of scorn or maybe with hopes of a financial settlement. I think she got an attorney right away because now she was defaming the character of a high profile athlete who would have high profile attorneys. The lack of evidence made them realize she is poking a bear. She doesnt have the funds to retain an attorney for long.....especially if Shady decides to sue her. This should be over soon.
  23. the only thing she is missing is evidence.
  24. I may be wrong but dont the police first have to evidence that McCoy is involved before being able to do that? I dont believe they can get a subpoena or a warrant based on a theory.
  25. You are right in that it could be a while. DNA testing is not quick. Fingerprints on the other hand are quick and that can be done in a matter of days or even hours depending on the resources available. If the person in question acts as McCoys landlord for the house, his fingerprints would not be out of place there. I am not sure if fingerprints degrade over time or not. I used to watch The First 48 and sometimes they knew who did the crime, they just couldnt tie them to it.
