I don't know about never, a play here or there this season flipped the division. McDaniel gets the most out of Tua as I think you can get. Tua cannot be in a better situation for his skill set.

I am good with this but I insist he be given the postition of field goal holder who can also punt in a pinch.

Timeouts are valuable. Number one you try to save them for end of half or game. When it becomes clear you don't need them for end of game you can step down to other times they provide some value. So on a key 3rd down when you are on defense, you get the offensive formation/look, call timeout in the hopes they go from what they think is their best call to something else. The criticism of this stuff is a little over the top. Did anyone see how Sean McVeigh used timeouts vs Detroit?

Lets worry about next year after this year is over. Signing both those guys on the same day and their longevity on this defense has been exceptional and right now the mission continues.

Where does one go to see the raw data that is in that chart? Is there a site that has these advanced stats? I know you can see it on twitter but this type of stuff is interesting to me. Curious if there is a source or if someone has to generate the data the hard way.

If you had a state government with any brains there would be no stadium. As a guy who moved from the region, I am glad there will be a new stadium but public dollars is a little sketchy IMO. Your reasoning also lacks details how much it will cost and how much all these events (that are just pie in the sky ideas) would or could bring in. Where is the market analysis that shows it would pay off? Actually I bet they did consider that kind of thing. Does OP want all these events or have a say in it?

The other thing is the current stadium is spread out at a very slow incline, the new one will have much steeper seats and there will be less square footage to shovel even if it had no cover.

For non QB's we should not be too surprised but just want to point out you have to talk about specific years a guy should have won it over the guy who actually did win it. MVP is not a lifetime achievement award meant for one of the greatest players. Without looking Rice did have a year with like 23 TD's or something in an era where that seem impossible, probably equivalent to a 30 TD season by a WR today. I bet Montana or Young actually won it that year. Actually I could not help but looking, in 1987 he was second to Elway..... I think that is for a particular player....in the regular season you can only get elevated 3 times. In the playoffs, you can call the same guy up every game. However there is a limitation on call ups for a game with a max of 2. That is what I heard a guy say on the radio anyway so it must be true.
