  1. If you see the view from behind Josh, it was an easy touchdown too.....too bad, seems we can never catch a break
  2. Not sure about Diggs but a cap reset of sorts is probably needed. So if they can offload a big one I think they have to consider it. At this point, the Knox contract is one that seems like one we can do without, I don't hate the guy or anything but the 2 TE thing never took off and that is a lot of money for a backup TE and we don't need Knox taking any of Kincaid's targets.
  3. This is one of the greatest plays he has ever made.
  4. The game is not Madden, your goal is to score there, if the TD is there you have to take it especially against a top 2 defense in the league. A TD puts you up by 4. Sure if you can run the clock out and score on the last play you end the game but planning to do that would make your chances of scoring the TD much less. The goal is the TD, you would not settle for the FG unless you get to fourth down. I could not imagine any coach having the conversation in the first paragraph with any quarterback.
  5. Quote where" I blamed Allen for 7 second half points". I think you are reading into things a bit.
  6. I do understand the differences, you could move on but you would have to be sure it is the right move, to me that is not super clear. If they draft a guy and he shows you something in camp maybe. To the bolded....and add 3M in dead cap to 2025.
  7. Clearly you dont I just believe they should have been able to overcome the deficiencies to make one or two stops the first three quarters against that offense (the 2023 version which was not that great).
  8. Until he does something else he will be known for this. However, looking at it a different way, lets list the teams/coaches with 5 playoff wins the last 4 years. I believe there are three including McDermott/Bills. The losses have been incredibly close except for Cinci and while being competitive is not good enough, he is not getting shellacked. Andy Reid is top 5 all time.
  9. Von will not be convinced to retire and give money back. Best bet is he gets healthier and returns to form, I think that is possible. Second best case is he gets suspended and the Bills have the ability to void guarantees. Dawson Knox has a 20.28M dead cap for 24 with a cap hit of 14.3M, he stays for 24 I think, they could spread it over two years to save something for 24 but that seems silly. A trade could be feasible cap wise but doubt someone will take the contract, but you never know. Tre Which is easy to move on from IF HE IS HEALTHY. If he is not fully healthy, they will have to negotiate something else. Diggs is interesting, it would be painful to move on for 24 but you could free up money for future years. He needs to perform better than he did the final 10 games or they should consider going another direction. Like Knox, not sure if you can find a team to take the contract. From a cap reset scenario, you could save by waiving Poyer and Morse. Both could have something left but I could understand choosing to get younger and cheaper in the plan to ramp up again in future years. I think they have to make some cap moves this year but we will see how Beane handles it.
  10. The Chiefs defense is outstanding which I am not sure is understood enough. This game was lost on defense, if you told me the BIlls will run the ball effectively, score 24 points and have no turnovers I would have taken that. Allowing those guys to score 27 in your house with a limited number of drives was the issue. We can make the injury excuse but to me that is all it is, you have to scheme it up and fine a way.
  11. The lack of horses argument is not valid to me, Shakir, Cook, Kincaid, Diggs(what happened to him?) are all weapons. If you want a better number 2 great I am good with that, the holes on defense are much greater, they have one DT for next year and 2 DE's. They also need an overall at safety.
  12. They needed to score a TD there but don't take that to mean I am criticizing Allen. Yes Diggs needs to catch the ball, I can give Sherfield a pass given his stature in the league. Diggs is paid to make that catch. I will also say the catch was not easy, not may passes are caught in the NFL with 65 air yards but it is reasonable to expect Diggs to make that play. I think Allen was outstanding, to me the failure was the inability to stop the Chiefs offense. It would have been ok to take the underneath play on 2nd and 9 to get into 3rd and short but Shakir was open, he just got affected by Chris Jones. Even if the kick goes through, they are fairly big dogs to lose giving the ball to Mahomes with 2 minutes and 2 timeouts.
  13. You want to pay 7.38M for a kicker not on the team and then another 1M for a rookie who is an unknown?
  14. 7 points in the second half yesterday. 13 seconds he threw two tds in the last two minutes. Why is this thread still going? It’s like the Klein covering kelce of threads.
  15. Diggs is much worse than Sherfield because Diggs is paid to make catches harder than that.
  16. I’m good with it. They had not stopped KC one time.
  17. He is a great defender
  18. You have no clue what beli hick would do
  19. So we can be like the chiefs with all their wrs?
  20. Allen played well enough to win but not like 13 seconds. For him to match that performance he would have had to throw a td at the end.
  21. You should check out the dead cap situation.
  22. Bass has never exuded confidence to me. And he has not had a lot of pressure kicks that were not gimmes. I think it is reasonable to judge the contract they gave him. He should be expected to make that kick but I would also say they did not lose because of him.
  23. Nance was annoying with the wide right thing. My mind was not there. It is really stupid any missed kick has to be referenced back to a previous missed kick that is completely irrelevant. People are so dumb
