  1. They should make a play of Higgins AND Jones. The salary cap is fake right???
  2. This is not super obvious. If you get the ball second you know what you need that is an advantage. On the other hand if both teams kick a FG or score a TD then you get the ball on the third drive for true sudden death which is an advantage.
  3. So Reid and Spags together provide better coaching than McDermott. Great, hard to argue against that. At this point we can also say Mahomes is overall better than Allen being objective about it. He is clutch, wins OT games in the playoffs, Super Bowl and has an unreal playoff record. Obviously the two together form a symbiotic relationship where they both benefit similar to the other previous evil empire. You are going against one of the top QB/Coach combination in the history of the league, the bar is as high as it can be. McDermott and Allen have beaten Mahomes and Reid 3 times in the regular season (yes only the regular season) in Arrowhead. Here is the list of others who have done that: None. McDermott is 0-3 in the playoffs. When you evaluate the last 4 meetings (2 playoffs, 2 regular season) each game has come down to the end, a play here or there flips the game. So McDermott has gone toe to toe with the great Reid and has competed well but in the end lost the two playoff games. Could it just be random luck/ball bounces that flipped the two playoff games toward the Chiefs and 2 regulars season games vs the Bills? I mean we can flip a coin 4 times and you could win two, I could win two. If the two you win are playoffs it takes on a different meaning but could it just be dumb luck on some level? My point here is yep McDermott and Allen have not gotten it done but what should be done about it? I believe the Bills can beat the Chiefs in the playoffs with McDermott. I also know chances of making the gap larger rather than smaller with a new coach is the likely outcome, who do you want? Should the 49ers fire Shanahan for the same reason? He "cannot" beat them either and Shanahan took a dumb timeout in the second half that most of this forum would have exploded over. Most people would say it would be dumb for the 49ers to fire Shanahan including me. If the Bills were in the NFC, would they likely have a little more playoff success the last three years? So who are we replacing McDermott with?
  4. Keep eating that grape jelly
  5. Not true, they just deal with it and don't make excuses
  6. We need our Valdes Scantling?
  7. Why don’t n need a gun to your head it was pretty clear
  8. At times yes but mostly it will be nickel. I would not expect a big difference form the last number of years. The bills our going to be in nickel.
  9. World class take here.
  10. I like what they have not that it could not be improved, nothing in this thread does it for me. Other than 90's throwbacks for a game here or there, that would be cool.
  11. We will have to agree to disagree here. To me identifying a crease and immediately hitting it is his best trait. You can find plays where it gets blown up but assuming that is on him is not fair when you consider hit total body of work. Sometimes there is not a hole
  12. Someone has to subsidize the millions who stream illegally!
  13. His ability to cut and hit a hole is his best asset. He proved to run hard ar times for a guy u fee 200 lbs. however blocking and catching are issues with him.
  14. Modest exageration
  15. That’s what we are using our lick on? kidding. That’s awesome unless that mean less fortune for the actual bills. Then it’s terrible.
  16. Both, end of story. It is just ridiculous to say all you need is Tom Brady and the defense, special teams, pro personal, game day decisions, gameplans, etc and they perform like they did during those 20 years. There is a big difference but it is not as simple as Brady/not Brady. Correlation is not causation.
  17. Yaaaaaaawwwwwwwnnnnnnnn. See ya at TC Diggs
  18. You are right, I was looking at the wrong column for this years hit. Said differently making him a post june 1 you take you are spreading out this years dead cap (32.5M) over 2 years. I guess it comes down to if you think he can return to form, if he does you should keep him. You dont think so, I am not so sure, he was starting to show something but I understand your postion
  19. Here are my thoughts: Tre: Waive him, a corner coming back from an Achilles at his age does not sound like something to continue investing in. You can save 6M on the cap by waiving him when he is healthy. I think the timing of when he gets cleared is important as there is a 1.5M roster bonus, that may cut into the 6M. Poyer: I would rip off the bandaid at safety, save the 5.4M by waiving him and sign a younger guy and or draft his replacement. That is X2 because of Hyde. Get younger in the secondary. Morse: Three option, pay cut, extend or waive. I think he is an extension target, he is not that old for a center and his contract could save in 24 on an extension. People are overly concerned about the concussions, for whatever reason Taron Johnson the same number of documented concussions is not a concern. You have Bates under contract who can step in, you can save 8.4M by moving on. I would prefer Morse over Bates so this would be only cap driven. Knox: I would take almost anything if something is willing to take this contract. I don't hate the guy but he is the backup at this point, too much for a backup. The drops will never stop.
  20. Three DWI's is ridiculous, he should lose his license and do some time IMO
  21. I don't think this is right, there are no savings if you waive Von, it makes the cap worse for this year, if you do it post 6/1 it is neutral and has a big dead cap in 25 also.
  22. Who will get 5 for 34?
  23. I do t know but he gave Milano lots and lots of “flowers”
