  1. your money is on the team that stopped it?
  2. Nfl Sunday ticket has two windows 1 pm and 4 pm games. That is it. You cannot watch 10 games at the same time. They give them all to you a dyou get to pick. The product is purchased by people like you and me nearly exclusively….out of market fans. A large percentage of people just want to watch their team. How many people really have 6 tvs set up in their living room?
  3. This is impressive since there have not been super bowls the last 60 years What you want is not good for the NFL....you want Sunday ticket for less than Sunday ticket why would they give that to you? 95% of Sunday ticket are fans who live out of market, that is the base for Sunday ticket sales. It is not getting cheaper.
  4. They didnt want them they way they were, last year they overhauled it with the landing zone with the stated goal of wanting more returns. Most teams opted to take the 30 yard line.
  5. In simple terms. Because the cap number of the top 51 plus dead cap/void money adds up to more than the cap. Spencer brown, all the modified contracts last offseason to get space for last year and all the incentives guys got the last game of the season plus Josh MVP all add up.
  6. They want returns. That will make that happen.
  7. That was a reasonable excuse in 2023 but not 2024. With way it’s an excuse. Nfl teams have injuries. Next man up and get it done no excuses. This past year the bills had like no one on it going into the playoffs. They lost Rapp and benford. People act like the bills have bad luck or something. Meanwhile other teams work around their injuries.
  8. McDermott has accomplished more than both Shottenheimer and Lewis already....not in terms of Super Bowls which is your one and only measure but in terms of playoff wins and playoff win %. I understand you can make them equal because they never won a SB but you can separate them if you want to. You don't see things getting worse if they change but the point is what is the plan, change for changes sake? Who do you want? I acknowledged in my post he has not wont he SB and that is the one thing he needs to do, it is not "acceptance" because one believes the best plan is to continue with McDermott.
  9. just looking at this back and forth I will just say you guys are talking past each other to some degree. I think the point is where are the All Pro level players/blue chip players. The BIll's have high end players, the list above is that. But where is the Chris Jones or Travis Kelce to go with the QB. Where are the other potential future HOFers..... Both things are true, the Bills have some really good players and they lack numbers of elite level players.
  10. I don't know one Bills fan that thinks like the bolded. That is your interpretation of fans being proud of the team we have today vs the one during the drought, no one is satisfied with the overall results. To the underlined, I don't agree it goes to just negativity, people think the best move is continue with McDermott and the fact they have not won the SB is not proof McDermott is not capable of it. We don't all have to agree on the path, as fans we all can have our own opinions. Some think McDermott will never get it done and some don't subscribe to that. You really think people think Buffalo is not a good landing spot for a good coach today? I dont think you will find many fans who think that. The reality is if you really evaluate what McDermott has done I think it is reasonable to argue he should continue. He is currently 17 among all time coaches n win %. Above Reid, Tomlin, Harbaugh, Payton, McCarthy and McVay who all have one SB's and were coaching last year. Above him are Sirianni, Harbaugh, Lafleur, and O'Connell. He is also above Seifert, Belichick, Martz, Cowher, Gibbs and Walsh. He has not done the one thing that will make him considered great.....yet. You want to replace him, great, is it not reasonable to ask with who? Overall the chances things get worse are greater than things getting better. McDermott does not have the record he has solely because of JA, he brings a lot to the table that many fans ignore. The Bengals have a franchise QB, they cannot even make the playoffs. If you compare him to Harbaugh.....why don't people want Harbaugh fired....just comparing the last 7 years, Harbaugh has a 2 time MVP, franchise QB and has way less playoff success than McDermott, McDermott is 2-0 vs him in playoff games....yet he gets a pass because he has a SB.
  11. Peeing in the sinks is better Reading about all these concerts, maybe instead of tearing it down they should put a roof on it and use it year round for concerts, they can make Billions..............wahahaha
  12. Same argument o fired last year when they released Morse. I would not say you “never know”. The coaches know a lot , no such thing as zero risk but they know the other players and have a track record of plugging guys in successfully.
  13. Nice Downer thread....I nominate this for depression thought of the century
  14. Does nothing for me. The enemy has much better footage of Bills fans despair........plus they have footage of going to 5 of the at 6 and and winning three How silly…oh.look they had a bad play
  15. Agree that creating holesis not a good way to create cap space but it always depends on how much and whatnot. However we disagree on Edwards, the point is you dont create a hole because you have the competent replacement on the roster already....and changing out Edwards does not blow up the talent on the line, the other 4 starter and first three backups all stay in place.
  16. How much space do you think he needs to free up?
  17. The year of the pick also matters, meaning this years 5th is better than next years 5th. I could see a 4(next year) or 5(this year)....I don't think you are getting a day 2 pick for a one year average OG.
  18. Unlike what people seem to think the Bills are very tight vs the cap and they don't have as much manipulation available this year. Extending Edwards kicks the can down the road for a JAG OG, I dont think that is a good move...you limit yourself tomorrow for not a good reason. I think he is easily replaceable. You draft and develop for a reason....when will Grable or Anderson get their shot if everyone is extended?
  19. that would be an option too....how about trade him? Again Edwards is somewhat expendable in some eyes because the next man up is on the roster and cheap so you are not creating a hole like you woudl be if you release Daquon Jones
  20. Joe Marino made a case to cut Edwards. Not for his play but just because the pipeline of talent is there with Anderson and grable and it saves money.
  21. Agreed. Gronk was special....Edelman was a great player with lots of clutch plays...I would argue Shakir is similar but the Bills have no Gronk.
  22. I could say the bills are obsessed with high round talent at wr with signing hamler, Isabella and claypool? Not saying they are equal at all but when you add Kincaid and Coleman to that they are clearly looking for traits. They have not worked out well enough yet. I feel like they have to hit on one of these picks at some point.
