  1. Hahaha. And give up the revenues first that week? Yeah that’s a great idea
  2. Is it? They broke the team record for points last year. They scored in the playoffs. The wr will help with them sneaks or the 4th down no blitz pickup. Teams with the best wrs did not even make the playoffs. Get your head out of the sand. N
  3. Why didn't the thread just end after this?
  4. I didn't know the WGR morning show has the name of Pete on this board. The hyper focus on WR is ridiculous and while more WR talent would be better, there is not much evidence that it will make the difference. There are several positions that shoudl be focused on, why is there never a DT train!!!!!???????
  5. I am not a fan of the WGR crew in general but anyone who is on the radio has to say stuff....and it is inevitable some of it comes out to not be a good take. But it was something like 21 of 22 during the regular season. The Chiefs had not stopped a sneak since like 2018. You find it unreasonable because you live in hindsight.
  6. It was reasonable to dismiss it....we did not need a caller to tell you he likes to go to his left, there was no secret we all watched it all year....the point is it was always successful. However in this game, it was clear they geared up for it and they should have went to something else.
  7. Couple things, not sure if spotrac has this updated yet but he hit unlikely to be earned incentives, that gets added to his next years dead cap. I think they made do the post June 1 thing with him.
  8. That happened at the combine.
  9. Saying Josh Allen choked is kind of ridiculous. However any criticism of Josh Allen results in pitch forks back at whoever said such a thing....the masses will breakdown the decision or play and try to mansplain why it was the perfect action or decision and others are always to blame. He had turnover worthy moments that did not result in turnovers.. Patrick Mahomes also had turnover worthy moments, one of which resulted in a actual turnover. My point is Josh Allen is great, we should all be happy but it is also ok to say this play was not his best for the following reason. The game was close, it came down to a couple crucial plays/calls by the refs. The way this works nationally though is what it is, it is Josh Allen losing to Patrick Mahomes....just like it was Manning beating Brady in 3 of their 5 playoff matchups. Mahomes is 4-0 vs Allen. The last two Josh got the ball with 3+ minutes left and timeouts down by 3, both efforts resulted in 0 points....it sucks. There are reasons beyond Allen and Mahomes that made it that way but that will not be what gets discussed.
  10. Lets work on another play maybe........it was embarrassing to watch them run it unsuccessfully over and over and I dont think this would have made a difference.
  11. Maybe then they can break the team record for points per game they set last year.
  12. Allen puts up more stats in his era than Kelly did in his. That is the point. Kemp was 3 score and 4 years ago. Almost nothing can actually be compared to that.
  13. He helped with the 8 team league so he is your favorite? The number of teams makes it like winning the divisional round. Kelly did not rack up stats compared to Allen. Kemp is the reason the team was motivated?
  14. Can you quote where I said the defense played well? I actually just made a joke/sarcastic post becuase you meant to say the Chiefs never score "more than 30 points" but go on with your narrative making........
  15. Do you mean twice?
  16. He will quit before the season starts
  17. And getting the ball with 3 minutes left down 3, failing to convert....Baldy broke it down, failure to recognize what was happening presnap, not that it was easy but it was there to be figured out. At the end of the day it was a well played game by both teams and the Chiefs made one more play. The third down on that drive...the bubble to Cooper could have been a big gainer if he can shake out of that tackle. So many little things
  18. KC score thirty twice in the regular season KC score thirty twice in the regular season KC score thirty twice in the regular season KC score thirty twice in the regular season KC score thirty twice in the regular season KC score thirty twice in the regular season KC score thirty twice in the regular season KC score thirty twice in the regular season KC score thirty twice in the regular season KC score thirty twice in the regular season KC score thirty twice in the regular season KC score thirty twice in the regular season KC score thirty twice in the regular season
  19. Even though I said what I said, I dont believe the premise of this thread that "Josh choked". But he did not have his best game. Mahomes had turnover worthy plays also.
  20. Which is totally realistic. I mean even though they broke the team record for points and points per game this year they were only second in the NFL in points scored. It is a major problem
  21. After watch Baldinger's breakddown I agree with you. When I saw in real time I thought he had it. The real issue here is not figuring out what was coming pressnap.
  22. the 2 point conversion was a QB call?
  23. The point about turnover worthy plays is not be be obsessed, you do it because one game is a small sample size and sometimes you get a better view on performance than looking deeper than just the stats. You play the game again, you likely have turnovers.
  24. The Chiefs were geared up for it, they stopped it or greatly limited progress every time. The decision to take the XP off the board and take the 2 point try was aggressive but probably the right move analytically. However, QB sneak is your best play there? You have to get an entire yard....Did not like it in the moment. Then in the second half up by one with the ball, they ran it I think 4 times out of like 8 plays, none of them were particularly successful yet they just kept at it. After the third down, I was like roll him out and give him options, nope lets do it again. Josh new they were stopping them so he did the leap over the pile move at midfield which was a bad move, you are fumbling there, he did, they got it back but that should have been enough for Brady and McDermott to step in and put an end to it. Nope lets do it again....this time its super close and we blame the refs....I think he got it but the call to do it again was way worse than anything the refs did there. That play turned the game. That was a turnover that KC needed.
