The Bill has 12 and 14 and went with Hunter the TE at 12 cause they wanted either Kelly or Marino. It is so strange to consider what would happen if Marino had gone to the Bills. But the Bills brass had it right, it is also interesting that Obrien and Easen when between Kelly and Marino. But then again, I think a lot more work goes into rating these guys today, there could be a Marino at 27 but also maybe not.

As far as FA goes They probably would have been interested in Cousins and the others got way more money than they are worth and none are guys you woudl want as a franchise guy. They got the guy that is most intriguing to me in McCarron since we don't know what he is. The Browns were willing to trade a 2 and 3 for him half a season ago. They have been acting desperate for a QB when it comes to the draft, that has been since day 1 when Beane took over. They dont say it publicly but its obvious what they were trying to do in the draft. Unfortunately it may not work out for them.

I am not sure he makes it out of the top 3 but if he does I am all for it. At this point we have to assume the draft will go QB QB QB to start. Will one of those be Allen? We have to assume the Jets gave the Giants the same offer and since they obviously turned the Jets down I think you have to assume they are going QB. Or less likely they want better value from the Bills. I don't see them taking Barkley no matter what his shorts workout was. I think the top three will be Darnold, Rosen and Mayfield.

Not only that, it would have been stupid for the Jets to not being making similar offers to the Giants as they struck with the Colts, Giants were not selling. I think the top 3 picks are staying with the teams that have them and there is a good chance they are all going QB.

The Glenn trade tells us they are not targeting Rudolph or Jackson. He was not out the door no matter what. That trade created a hole on the BIlls roster.

Eli is old and not that good and this draft class has good qb talent and they happen to have #2nand rebuilding. It is totally reasonable for the giants to take a qb. Lets hope not but how can you not see that. Don’t think for a second the jets did not make the same offer to the giants and they said no.

IF the giants are willing to trade. Why would they not take a qb?

All the holes are not getting filled period. There will be holes going into the season. Some of the holes will get filled with lower end FA's.

If a team offers #6 and next years first to go to three. What would an equivelent or better trade by from Buffalo? #12, #22 and a 2nd? I get we have the ammo required to do it, I get it. But if you are the Colts you may look at things differently that is all I am saying. What the Bills dont have is #6 and that may be what the Colts would want. If next years one is on a team you think is bad that may be a better offer. You are probably right, the Bills should be able to make it happen but the other team has to agree and want that over other teams offers.

They dont need as much ammo, they only need to go up a couple spots. If the Colts like someone woul will likely be there at 6 but not at 12 they might feel better to do that and not get as many picks but get their target at 6. There are a lot of factors. They also could trade to 6 and then trade back more and end up with all kinds of picks.

As it should be assuming Luck can get healthy. They stand to get a big premium for that pick with multiple teams vying for theirs. The Bills are pretty far away still. I have read teams like the Broncos and Jets may try and trade up. This will be an overpaying situation more than likely

I dont think the Browns will pass on a QB at #1. As good a combine as Barkley had, he is an RB...QB's affect W's and L's way more than RB's. RB is the position with the shortest career statistically.
