Not sure what this is. Directv has local channels with the exception of sometimes you lose a station temporarily over contract disputes and as far as I can tell is never permanent. Sometimes inconvenient, sure. Directv is not planning to dump all network channels are they? With a little work you can get it on the tv....

No injuries is basically what I hope for #1.Other than that it is good to see your team do well in any game but there is little to no correlation of good play/outcomes in preseason to regular season so.....lets just not get injured. The year the Lions were 0-16, they were 4-0 in preseason.

Three preseason games. Either alternate each year 1 home game then two home games. Heck I would consider each team play at a neutral site for one preseason game. That may help grow the key age. Then Each team only has one preseason game. Fans happy. The teams would lose money on a preseason game but they would more than make it back with the extra week of tv revenue. That is my point. Tv out weighs game day revenue at a stadium.

Remove one preseason game, add a second bye week, that will generate more income than the 4th preseason game. If you want to remove a second preseason game then add teams to the playoffs. I also think instead of a preseason game they could have some kind of fan appreciation event/pep rally at all 32 stadiums, make it a TV event where they bounce around from stadium to stadium. Let the players speak to the fans, talk trash about the Pats etc. 18 games sucks

hate it, 16 is enough. I like that it is divisible by 4, so the season is divided into 4 4 game quarters. Not sure I agree the players dont want it. They would not want it for the same money but if the money goes up proportionally or if they get a bigger part of the revenue pie, they may be all for it.

THey know the need to cut back on preseason, so instead of doing that they have to "win" by adding them back as regular season games. It waters down the significance of the games. The league should just eat it but somehow I am sure we will end up with 18 games.
