What I dont think was talked about much there was that he may not have been down by contact. I never thought they really slowed it down to go over that. In other words, yeah he was touching the receiver but he never got posession of the ball til he was standing which means he was NOT down by contact. That could have been a TD the other way. I do not think it was a conspiracy there though, just too fast of a play.

To consistently compete you need a great qb. List the teams over the last couple decades who have lots of playoff appearances and then point out which ones have an average qb. You can can make a run here or there with an average guy but to consistently compete late on the playoffs requires a franchise qb. Nonsense is anyone who would dispute that.

I never watched him play much but from looking at his stats I would rather stick with Tyrod. I guess I just dont see the excitement about him. Again I did not actually see him play but the output is not that great.

I think they will look at options like Cousins, Alex Smith and Keenum but if they dont find an upgrade I could see them sticking with Bortles. I think they will try hard to get a veteran. I dont know their cap situation but with tall that talent its a matter of time before it blows up.

Whaley was the guy to let go if you can get in your time machine. Part of what makes Marrone a decent coach is that he is willing to stand up for what he things is right. I am sure not always easy to get along with but he offered decent leadership. He is also more conservative that I would like my coach to be.

He treated his teammates like crap by not giving it his all. Respect is earned not given.

Being honest here, I was disappointed when he decided to leave, I thought the team was going in the right direction. But that is water that went under the bridge a long time ago, time to move on.

I agree with a lot of what the OP said. McCoy is a gamer and a good teammate. However throwing a helmet does nothing for me. A guy who throws his helmet does not necessarily care more than a guy who controls himself.

Relieved Tolbert is on that list A lot of those are role players and I would be ok with some of them coming back. Obviously Gaines and Matthews would be good to keep but they wont be cheap. Thompson is worthy of a WR spot.

Bills fans always love to complain about the lack of WR's. Hogan was a joke who would not make the roster on other teams, same for Goodwin. Woods was OK (mabye a 2 or a 3) but not worth the money. Then they go elswhere and we wish we still had them. Soon that will be true for Matthews. This is not a bash on Taylor but the reality is this offense the last three years does not utilize WR's and that has to change first.
