When he stops winning?
-
Lmao, Tyrod’s gonna start another football game ?
Matt_In_NH replied to Teddy KGB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Fans are fans. Guys who don’t win for you or are not good on somones fantasy team are “trash”. The reality is both of these guys have had successful nfl careers for themselves. Successful when you look at career length and money earned. Not many can say they did what they have done. Tyrod needs Greg Roman. -
You make a mistake, you move on. No sense holding onto dead weight cause you gave up a second. His willingness to ignore the cost incurred to obtain a player in determining what he will do now/in the future is part of what makes him successful. Most coaches/GM's will hold onto those players for too long

Tasker to replace Eric Wood, for short time
Matt_In_NH replied to davefan66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wood was pretty good......hope he gets back to it when he can. For me Tasker is hit or miss...sometimes he makes good points but sometimes he is in lala land. -
Why is Marcel Dareus still a free agent?
Matt_In_NH replied to Brennan Huff's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Talent with no desire /commitment has no value. So no teams value him -

Figuring out the OL depth chart

Could Nsekhe get cut? He has a hard time staying healthy. They would save 3.2 million...I think looking at Spotrac -
Fitz embraced the city of buffalo. Still does. Says it’s his favorite city he played. Plus he is charismatic and funny as hell. Tyrod is a pro but super serious and does not really open up publicly. That’s it really. Other than that I think fans in general appreciate both but are also not sad they have moved on.

Can the Vikings sign him long term? Thought they had some cap trouble. I guess this is cousins last year.

2021 Salary Cap - Bills could potentially be overspent
Matt_In_NH replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If the bills are in trouble then most of the rest of league is even worse off. I really think the nfl will find a way to keep the cap flat. -
Hauschka has short arms

Will Beane make a trade before cuts?
Matt_In_NH replied to ColoradoBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They are deep interior line and WR. They got a 5th for Wyatt Teller and a 6th for the center tot he pats last year....it could happen...it also might not, teams can just take their chances to sign them after cuts. He will be trying though, you can be sure of that. -
Bass gets all the work from here on out....they must like what they have seen.

I got $30 off for 12 months and $10 for 1 month. Not too great but it pays for the sunday ticket.

Would YOU pay for a ‘Bills Network’?
Matt_In_NH replied to TheyCallMeAndy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I might but probably not....there is enough free info out there and I actually like seeing the view from sources like NFLN that cover the whole league. Sure I get tired of Dallas and NYG talk at a disproportionate rate than the Bills but I like seeing what is going on across the league and not solely from the perspective of Buffalo. -
Bills announce no fans for 1st 2 home games
Matt_In_NH replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Supply and Demand.....they will be able to..... This is just going to be a weird season, some will see it as a "competitive disadvantage" for some teams to have 13,000 fans and others to have 0. The NFL is going to generate every dollar they can in revenue even if there is some perceived imbalance. You can pump in 80db or something anyway. Not sure how much 13,000 fans can really influence anything one way or the other. -
This is a good deal for Dawkins, he is very likely to see most of this deal. I am ok with that as a fan from what I can tell. The guy has played 48/48 games in his career, that is hard to do in the NFL. He loves Buffalo and seems sincere in his desire to get better and help this team achieve something. He may not be the best LT out there but in a couple years the contract will look like a good deal for a LT and he can still get better. He seems to genuinely want to improve.

Bills Entire Marketing Dept Steps Down
Matt_In_NH replied to Mango's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Without public money nothing will happen I don't think. The Fanbase in WNY is not as wealthy as other communities so ticket prices will have to stay on the cheaper side. -
Cam Newton ‘absolutely not’ the Patriots’ starting QB (?)
Matt_In_NH replied to cd1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It will be Newton unless he gets injured.... -
The Frank Reich myth lives on forever. He was a career backup, a professional for sure, someone who could be relied on. But think the likes of Brian Hoyer in todays game, not saying they are the same player but they are both players you might want as a backup, not as a starter. I remember people openly discussing if Reich should play over Kelly.....nonsense then and now.

With the expanded ps and ability to keep more vets on the ps this will be a chess match. I agree with others the bills will not keep two punters on the 53. Edwards maybe a ps candidate. Two kickers is possible. I think bass will get scooped up by someone if you waive him. So I so t think ps is an option there. Haushka will also get scooped if they waive him. So the move may be to keep a different vet on the ps that otherwise would not be active.
