  1. They won three SB's before AH they have one 3 SB's since AH. They have been to 9 in like 18 years and someone thinks the Patriots are the ones that need to learn something? HAHA
  2. I hate the Patriots too but this comes across a little whiny to me. Personally I agree with some of it but totally see it different on some other things. The second they caught wind the player was involved in a murder, he was off the team, before any investigation, trial, conviction, anything. They immediately waived him once they knew. This could have happened on any team. Giving chances to a guy like Gordon works for the Patriots given their culture and winning ways. If he stays clean and performs they win, if he does not he goes away and its next man up. I think guys like Gordon and A Brown get too many opportunities. Part of me wishes all teams would ignore them which is the only way to stop the behavior in the future from others. Particularly with Brown, I wish he would actually suffer real consequences for his behavior and not be on an NFL team. The guy quit/did not show up for week 17 when they needed to win to make the playoffs, he cant be counted on. But again with the Patriots culture, they can take him in and get rid of him without it affecting them much. They have a winning culture/system where no one player can do much damage right now. I hate how Belicheck treats people in the media. I get it, he does not want to answer certain questions, but he can do it in a more professional manner, it is not that hard. Does he go over the line? Yeah probably, but we also have to consider the culture has changed with regards to this. There used to be a you arn't trying if you arn't cheating attitude in the NFL. Bounties were the norm, any little advantage you could find (within the rules or not) you took advantage of. Personally I think there is reason to be optimistic about the Bills but lets let the season play out some more before concluding much. I do see some of the parallels though. It seems like they are going to call games/make gameplans based on the matchups rather than just try and ground and pound every game no matter the opponent. You need to be able to pass a lot to win and you need to be able to run more to win, depending on what the other team is doing. They are taking that philosophy which is great.
  3. I assume he was out there to get the jets into personnel that favors what the bills wanted to do. Then they line him up wide to spread out the defense to get favorable matchups?
  4. The young field general threw a heater low and inside which was deflected into the calm autumn air and picked off by the great linebacker destined for agony between his legs.
  5. There were breakdowns but lots of clean pockets and holes you could drive a truck through in the second half for Singletary.
  6. He is for sure. I would not be surprised if they work on an extension.
  7. This is the thing some are not willing to see,/accept you can throw the ball 8 million miles an hour not in the best location but if it bounces off your your body, its the receivers fault. The "catchable ball" police will always say that was catchable....and it was (like 20% of the time) but that does not make it a good throw. I saw progress in Allen though from last year (and the offensive philosophy), we are going to have to live with mistakes for now, its just part of who he is. The reality is his worst throws were dropped by the other team or called back on penalties. This one was not his worst throw but it was not good, he owns part, Beasley owns part, nice job overcoming it. Bring on the Giants!
  8. the all important 210 yard passing mark
  9. You lose games when you turn the ball over 4 times even when you "outplay" the other team.
  10. As great as it was to have a 17 point comeback. The jets were a total ***** show and should have easily won that game.
  11. This is what I was going to say. But also, he is really good, nice effort by Bell there.
  12. No he did not. He did average over 2000 yards from scrimmage over 4 years though.
  13. The Pats run the East til someone takes it from them.....until that happens it is safe to assume the division is theirs. Their roster is really good and with B & B they are tough to beat. Gotta make Brady feel his age...gotta hit him. Having said that, this is over reaction Monday.....teams are not as good or as bad as they looked yesterday. If you assume the Steelers are one of the two teams that could challenge NE and then got smoked by 30 and then assume other teams will do even worse...that is a bad assumption.
  14. There is good reason to be encouraged after the game yesterday, with all that went wrong, he stuck with it and pulled the game out. People here were calling for Barkley in the gameday thread. In general you really will only beat bad teams when you make the mistakes this team made yesterday. Fortunately for Josh, his worst plays yesterday did not hurt him. There were a couple throws that should have been picked that were not. Bad bounces happen, I would argue sometimes they are caused by the QB but the decision to throw off the back foot when Maye dropped the INT would have been crushing. My major concern with him is that he tries to do too much, need to see less decisions like that. I say B-
  15. The "started" this like 100 years ago, LOL
  16. Is it possible the ref had a clear angle/view? The tv shots were never clear but it did not look good for the bills to me. The entire ball has to get out of the end zone. Just because it was not clear to you or tv cameras does not make it a bad call.
  17. It was not clear to me. Not sure how you can say that without just making an assumption.
  18. Didn’t the bills lose similarly against the ravens last year?
