  1. He is very sloppy with the ball and I think that is just part of who he is. Hopefully with time, these things will occur less and less. He is like the complete Anti-Tyrod.
  2. Ok Allen make up for your awful plays
  3. Absolutely. This is the nfl and writing in a w is never a sure thing. However we will all be disappointed if they lose this game.
  4. And to think he follows Eric Wood who has a similar story.....
  5. The guy has been off loaded by three teams while playing a grand total of one game. And he is probably the most talented player at his position. People need to understand there is more than talent. This guy is human garbage and I hope he never plays again and goes broke with lawyer fees.
  6. I don't think there is a legal free way.
  7. I get where you are coming from and agree but I’m still in cautiously optimistic mode. The thread title said we are a competent team which could mean many things but I took it to be we are a good team. A team that wins most games. I don’t think the evidence is there to conclude that yet.
  8. Pump the brakes man.......your perceptions of a competent team could change by 4PM Sunday. Not saying it will or I expect it to or anything but two games against bad teams with new coaches has the opportunity to be misleading.
  9. So, is he a bust and we should move on? Or we give him this year and all offseason to grow into being a pro....see if he improves and is heading upward?
  10. Well they tried to trade for one idiot (AB) so I guess this would be a possibility but he does not seem like a Buffalo Bill type You also just don't just get better by adding "talent". This has been proven over and over. Personalities, off the field issues, attitude, contract are also taken into account among other things
  11. People always are going to find reasons to complain. I get it they did not go "up and down the field" at will for the entire game, rather only for 4 drives. This offense is so improved from last year, I hope people see that. Josh has taken a big step forward, still room for improvement but he improved during his healing time last year and then from year 1 to year 2, he looks like a different player. Dont worry about beeing full octane all the time, I am ecstatic with the improvements. Specifically his short passing game is much improved, he led Gore on a flare out the way you want him to. Last year he would have fired it right at his torso (catchable) but not good placement. There are what 8 or 9 new starters on the offense, give them time, let them grow, enjoy the win. Yesterday felt like a lot of games back in the early 90's when the Bills were just the better team, not always performing perfectly, dominating at times, coasting at others. That TD drive in the fourth to end the game is something we are not used to. In years past that would have been run run conservative pass punt.
  12. It’s almost like zay had a ball go off his hands for a pick six and the. Dropped a nice pass later that would have gone for a nice gain
  13. Is this the catchable pass guy? You da man. Toot that horn catchable pass guy. Toot toot!
  14. Pretty sure it’s a snake just like fantasy football. Jk
  15. This is a snoozer. What are you talking about?
  16. They won three SB's before AH they have one 3 SB's since AH. They have been to 9 in like 18 years and someone thinks the Patriots are the ones that need to learn something? HAHA
  17. I hate the Patriots too but this comes across a little whiny to me. Personally I agree with some of it but totally see it different on some other things. The second they caught wind the player was involved in a murder, he was off the team, before any investigation, trial, conviction, anything. They immediately waived him once they knew. This could have happened on any team. Giving chances to a guy like Gordon works for the Patriots given their culture and winning ways. If he stays clean and performs they win, if he does not he goes away and its next man up. I think guys like Gordon and A Brown get too many opportunities. Part of me wishes all teams would ignore them which is the only way to stop the behavior in the future from others. Particularly with Brown, I wish he would actually suffer real consequences for his behavior and not be on an NFL team. The guy quit/did not show up for week 17 when they needed to win to make the playoffs, he cant be counted on. But again with the Patriots culture, they can take him in and get rid of him without it affecting them much. They have a winning culture/system where no one player can do much damage right now. I hate how Belicheck treats people in the media. I get it, he does not want to answer certain questions, but he can do it in a more professional manner, it is not that hard. Does he go over the line? Yeah probably, but we also have to consider the culture has changed with regards to this. There used to be a you arn't trying if you arn't cheating attitude in the NFL. Bounties were the norm, any little advantage you could find (within the rules or not) you took advantage of. Personally I think there is reason to be optimistic about the Bills but lets let the season play out some more before concluding much. I do see some of the parallels though. It seems like they are going to call games/make gameplans based on the matchups rather than just try and ground and pound every game no matter the opponent. You need to be able to pass a lot to win and you need to be able to run more to win, depending on what the other team is doing. They are taking that philosophy which is great.
  18. I assume he was out there to get the jets into personnel that favors what the bills wanted to do. Then they line him up wide to spread out the defense to get favorable matchups?
  19. The young field general threw a heater low and inside which was deflected into the calm autumn air and picked off by the great linebacker destined for agony between his legs.
