Top 15 Most-Heartbreaking Bills Moments
Matt_In_NH replied to Giuseppe Tognarelli's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
In 60 years you will have tough moments. When you play close games you play with fire. You will get burned sometimes. The bills got a fortunate penalty on the rams that flipped that outcome. Yesterday the bills were short handed and played well. They cardinals could try that play 10’times in a row and odds are they don’t get one of them. It was a combination luck, great play by Hopkins and poor defense by the bills. ***** happens. From a tiebreaker stand point the games that mean the least are inter conference road games. So this was the game to lose bad in vs say against the pats. -
I think this was good placement but would need to see the replay more. On screen passes the an can really help with placement....lead the rb the direction he can go to get yards. Fitz was always good at this. Allen I. The past would just put it on the guy. There is-art to completing a screen pass.

Looks like we're shorthanded tomorrow - Covid-19

I am sure there is some gaming going on....but the criteria is not within one foot, there is also an element of time considered. I think if you are within 6 feet for 10 minutes it counts. If it was one foot at any time we might as well just forfeit. -
Any news on Tommy Sweeney?
Matt_In_NH replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I guess the could opt to just keep him in the organization and ir him. Or try to get him to PS. Right now he’s not needed on the 53 from what I can tell. -
There aware 8 or 9 games played. One game can skew things a lot and this is low sample size for this kind of analysis. From watching the games the bills have been the better team in their wins and have dominated at times although the score did not reflect that at the end of the game. don’t let this worry you. It’s kind of useless

Are you actually making excuses for why the Bills won national audience games? Talk about being a negative Nancy....wow -

Why didn't McDermott challenge the Davis TD?
Matt_In_NH replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It is not clear it would have been overturned. It “looks” good but is their indisputable evidence? No -

Ok, but you are a biased fan, calls are not overturned based on opinion. I dont think from that view the NFL would have overturned. How can you say the ball went OVER the pylon The endzone plane does not extend indefinitely out of bounds. -

I have heard a lot of opinions that it would "definitely have been ruled a TD". I disagree. You need the clear visual evidence, I am not saying it does not exist but I have not seen it. First is his foot all in bounds? Could someone question if blade of the the out of bounds grass/turf have touch his foot? This is really close IMO, yeah the majority of his foot is in bounds, but he side of his shoe could have been touching. But lets say you conclude his foot is in bounds, not you need clear evidence the football went over the pylon, was that shown? I did not see it if it was. Again, maybe it was but there needs to be indisputable evidence it was over the pylon. Second half timeouts are gold and the NFL errs towards keeping the play as called on the field, I think a good non challenge. How can you clearly see the ball is over the pylon with this angle? -
Josh Allen now 60% CAREER completion percentage.
Matt_In_NH replied to BidsJr's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Meh. 60% is actually pretty poor. There are only 3 qbs this year less than 65%. He is 6th this year in completion percentage and showing his progression in stats year one to year two to year three is what is really impressive. He has gotten more accurate.....but that can be subtle. Ball placement so the receiver can run after the catch. And throwing more catchable passes vs some of the uncatchable heaters has helped. -
The much maligned deterioration of the passing game...
