  1. The Bills got all kind of nat attention when Rex Ryan came to town. The Bills can earn nat attention by winning some of the next 4 games, probably two will do it. Other than that lets call the wambulance
  2. I hope Allen plays well on nat tv
  3. We are talking past each other....lets just move on.
  4. Just pontificating? There are facts out there....HAHA https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/10/03/home-teams-have-fared-well-since-start-of-thursday-night-tv-package-in-06/
  5. All the things I would have wanted to go up went up All the things I would have wanted to go down went down. Rinse and repeat a couple times and we will have ourselves a QB.
  6. But that was a week long prep week, the away team on Thursday has a terrible win% statistically. The Cowboys went to NE but it was for a sunday game, there is a big difference there. Then again, winning in NE on the road is a worse % than thursday night road games in general. Whether its 1000 or 1200 or 1500 miles probably means very little....being the home team for Thursday is a significant advantage.
  7. Not really, the steelers have 3 coaches ever.
  8. I just don't think this is possible. I hear a lot about how bad the officiating is getting...but I dont see it. in the 80s and 90s bad calls were expected and understood...and THEY HAPPENED, a LOT. Now we micro-evaluate everything, create a MEME and talk about it in real time on twitter...frame by frame. There is no way for a human to watch and see everything right, sometimes the camera has a better angle. Oh and they constantly add new rules and never remove any so the refs have more to watch for. If you want it RIGHT, then technology has to be part of the equation.
  9. To be honest, that is my fear as well. This regime values haveing guys playing in contract years....lots of one year deals. Good strategy. But if he is gone there will be a hole. Not sure his brother is quite up to par. Is transition tag an option?
  10. If I am reading that right, teams are double teaming the wrong Watt. Garrett is a beast, huge loss for the Browns
  11. Why would he accept that though. On the open market he will get overpaid.
  12. john brown is 8th in yards and 15th in receptions for whatever that is worth.
  13. Turnover directly lead to losses, it is not acceptable for a players style to lead to more fumbles than another players. All players need to have a style that minimizes fumbles. It is understood that fumbles are part of the game but if you are being sloppy you should not have the ball. I think that is the thought. You could say should this apply to Josh Allen but the QB position is different than the RB. RB's cannot be fumbling machines, it removes all the potential value of having them out there.
  14. Is there a deadline for when you can extend guys during the season? This guy is playing well and seems very passionate, always trying to get the fans into it. I guess if you are Phillips at this point maybe you wait til FA and maximize your cash. I wonder if they would tag him at this point....
  15. A counter example really does not prove much. I guess I said no chance which I guess is what you are responding to. I should have said pretty much no chance cause that is what it is. In reality there is a small chance if it getting overturned as 32 of the previous 33 Pi challenges were upheld. Your timeouts are beat used elsewhere.
  16. Also week 1 for the Bills on a TD for the Jets. But that does not make the theory false. Plays like this have occurred throughout the league and the challenges are rarely reversed even though the video evidence seems to show otherwise. It's not a theory, the data is there, teams are not challenging it as often either as a result.
  17. 5 straight games with no INT's....I was not sure I would have thought that was possible earlier in the season. He is on an upward projection for sure. Still a ways to go but up is the right direction. The whole play fearless thing may have largely been directed at Allen.
  18. No chance that got reversed....the refs are doing a "silent protest" of sorts on this, total waste of a timeout. That challenge is really only meant to reverse the NFC championship game situation which happens about once per 100 years. The concept of challenging uncalled penalties is a pandora's box I don't think we want.
  19. Does that good feeling include the facts of win rates on the road for Thursday games? This game against Denver is basically a must win. Dallas not so much, a win and the Bills will basically be in the playoffs. It is a game so it is important but from a playoff tie-breaker perspective it is the most unimportant game left because it is an inter-conference road game. The game in Pitt is probably the most important but it could not matter if you can get a win against Dallas, NE or Baltimore.
  20. Limes in Coronas?
  21. The bottom one is Darryl Roberts
