Roll call for officiating conspiracy believers
Matt_In_NH replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Exactly correct, I am a Bills fan living in NE and I can assure you they also think the NFL is out to get them. They can make a case too if you look at the whole deflate gate/sting the NFL did. They are the only team to lose two 1st round picks as penalties. I listen to NFL network on Sirius and this is a common theme, Steelers fans think the NFL is out to get them, Cowboys fan....like you said pretty much every fan base, the reasons are different. For Buffalo its small market, for NE its that Goodell hates Kraft, they all have their "reasons". The reality is calls are subjective and the NFL officiating is inconsistent. Josh Allen getting called for a fumble against Minn while Mayfield gets an incomplete pass on the same play. Lots of inconsistencies........but I dont believe there is any conspiracy, nothing intentional. Unconscious bias, sure we are all human. Screaming for calls works.... working the officials...some I am sure like some teams and dislike others, or more likely individuals... -
Roll call for officiating conspiracy believers

Who makes the business plan? Who decides what steps to take to execute it? If the business plan was found/published publicly and shown to bias certain teams for financial gain would there(could there) be an impact in terms of loss revenue? -
Maybe we want to lose to the Ravens?

While we all probably agree we want the Pats to not go to the SB we dont need to sacrifice anything the Bills can accomplish. What we should want more than anything is to win a SB and anything that puts you on the path to do that. Strategically losing games to give the Pats a slightly less chance of tying a record is kind of silly. And not to mention the real record when it comes to SB's is 9 in 18 years with 6 wins......and its not the Bills. -
How did we lose to the Eagles?

Any given Sunday. The nfl is a week to week league. Matchups, game plans....and it’s not always who you play but when you play them. Miami had the lead in buffalo in the fourth I believe. The bills can beat the eagles and lose to the dolphins. -
Do the "look at me" actions of Shaq and Oliver bother you?

Bruce Smith and Cornelius Bennett use to do this. It was good -
This was the worst I have ever heard Romo......I get it he is an ex Cowboy but he did not seem to want to give the Bills their due. Usually I like him but he was a definite Cowgirls fan today.

Please dont take this the wrong way, I'm a JA supporter but Lets not give him a gold jacket yet.....hasn't played a playoff game or beaten the Pats.

His problem is age?

Here is the thing you go for it there and you are likely to get it, no question. But what is the payoff? You are no where near fg range. All they did is delay before punting. If buffalo got the stop it could have been a turning point and huge momentum swing. I don’t think it was the right decision. the turning point was the fourth and one imo

I get it but there are not great options out there. You know he is capable but is in a slump. I think your best bet this year is work with him and encourage him.

Bills 7 for 55! Dallas 5 for 66 kind if a wash statistically. There were some questionable carols though. -
It’s kind of an urban legend about the correlation between training staff and injuries. They had dr cho on nfl network talking about this and that was his take. It’s partly luck and partly that this regime values players who don’t miss a lot of games due to injury. Lots of guys on final year or one rly early deals. Those players want to get paid and you don’t do that on the sideline.
