On one hand as far as sexual assaults go you have to hand it to him taking responsibility. Most would deny deny deny. But On the other hand it’s a sexual assault and I don’t see them putting someone up on the wall with that in their background. Had he done up first he would probably stay but that is not what happens. Not getting recognized is part of his punishment and I am ok with that.

Who remembers 3 TD's in 1 minute, 17 seconds ?
Matt_In_NH replied to LB48's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That and the next week are the games those nineties teams learned how to win. The week before levy pulled Brice cause they were getting blown out and Bruce made a big deal about it. -
Convince me that the 2020 Pats are good...

And someone might consider trading Bledsoe in the division for a 1st rounder. It happens. A couple years ago the Brown supposedly had a deal for AJ McCarron for a 2nd. Dont get me wrong, I want what you are saying to be true and maybe after two decades I can't see straight but I dont think Belichick is going down without a significant fight. For him, this is just another chance for him to double down and move his legend forward by continuing to be successful without Brady. I believe he wants it and will do all he can to achieve. -

Yeah I disagree, lots of teams trade with them (help them) all the time. And 16 teams are in another conference. I agree it may not be in Indy's best interest but anything can be had for the right price. I dont see him pulling a rabbit out of his butt however I do see them being better than people think. -

Their roster is not the best and they have an unknown at QB. However, they have what most would argue is the best coach of all time and that counts for a lot. He will churn the QB if it is not working out, trade for someone who can manage games, like Brisset or something. Whether you agree they are good or not, don't be surprised if they are still in it when the Bills play at Foxboro week 16. -
With the cba there is something about third rounders that makes signings take longer. But if you need to be talked off the ledge over this then There is not much hope for you

THey have cap issues but at the same time could have went with a veteran who is out there. Belichick is probably not enamored with who was out there and wants to take his legend to the next level by "developing" Stidham. Good luck, he will likely fail at making the next Tom Brady. But I bet they will be a winning team and someone the Bills will still struggle to beat.

Saints and Panthers violated draft rules

There is also no negotiating until the "legal tampering" window in FA. All the teams stick to that one. -
Alex Smith Injury-Redskins Cap Space
Matt_In_NH replied to JetsFan20's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So essentially you want the jets to have a different cap than the rest of the league. This would open the owners to committing more money to players and they would not go for it. At least that is what I believe. You win stone you lose some.... sometimes you take a hit that is hard to predict. Like others pointed out it happened to the bills a couple years ago. -
Final result of the Marcel Dareus trade for Buffalo:
Matt_In_NH replied to warrior9's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It was. But at the same time it’s not like dareus at the time of his selection was a poor choice. Many considered him the best player in the draft. The issue with him is motivation not skill. It is their job to evaluate a guys motivation and try to predict his behavior but it is always partly luck. -
Happy 22nd Birthday Tremaine Edmunds

He’s getting old -
it’s a personnel thing. You get them in personnel you want with “big”. Then split them out. The FB our wide is kind of just sacrificing a pawn for a knight.
-
He is spread out wide in 4 WR sets a LOT
-
The Pats could easily get Newton or Dalton if they want to fit him in. They can create cap space pretty easily with a couple cuts. But if they dont think those guys are the answer long term I think they may just go with Stidham. I think Dalton would be Bill's choice over Cam but he may not want either.

Brady and Belicheck Ego's Got in the Way?
Matt_In_NH replied to Irv's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think this is all Brady, they took is parking spot, reduced his salary to sign Welker and others that never materialized, disallowed his trainer in the building. Lots of resentment from Brady towards Belicheck,. Belicheck is just a Dick, everyone conforms to his way or else. Which in general is probably good but it might be good to make an exception for a guy like Brady. Brady was just a number to Belicheck like anyone else. -

I hate the Patriots too but not sure how you are saying this. THey have lost multiple first round picks in the past and been fined larger amounts of money than I think other teams have.
