The only part of the shout song I like is "hey eh hey eh....hey eh hey eh...lets go buffalo.....lets go buffalo". I have always kinda crinched inside when the lyrics "the bills make me wanna shout" are sung. Teams in general have horrid fight songs. The Dolphins one is just awful -
Why it was tough to be a Bills fan
Matt_In_NH replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Totally correlated with a rotation of terrible QB's and coaches. You can build a great defense but it does not last long unless you replenish well through the draft. A great QB allows you to consistently compete year in and year out. -
It might not work out but its not time to throw dirt on the guy yet.

NFLPA Pres seeks to permanently end OTAs and minicamps

I don't think teams ever intend to put wear and tear on the players bodies, keep them in shape physically and mentally, yes. Beat them up, no. I think this is just the reason they are using to get a hall pass longer in the offseason. The owners will give something up here since it has no affect on revenues. More guys will get out of shape in the offseason, everyone will have to deal with it in some way shape or form. Zoom calls have wear and tear on your eyes, they should cut back on those. -
The Bills can rest their best players and have a good chance to still win this game.

Bills host WR Tanner Gentry for visit.

Hope I’m wrong but sign one guy while bringing in two more. It’s just circumstantial but it feels bad to me. When is the last time they had three wrs in three days? Like I said hope I’m wrong. -

This has to be bad for Beasley...man that sucks -
I think this was more preparedness and coaching than arrogance. Last year this same circumstances resulted in a td for the pats. The bills learned firm it, prepared for it and then executed the plan. It is chess against BB. You could have taken a timeout or blocked it up. Instead they countered which sends a message for future contests.

This is the way I look at it....if you look at each game as a coin flip the Bills have a 75% chance to end up with the 2 seed, only if Pitt wins and Bills lose will they get the 3. But even then that does not mean game 2 of the playoffs is not at home, if Pitt loses in the WC round, the Bills still get the home game, so again using the coin flip analogy you bring the percentage to 87.5% and that is with resting guys. Now we can talk about if games are 50/50 but I think the Bills could still win against the Dolphins. So you can increase the 87.5% up by "not resting" but you still risk losing the game to the Dolphins anyway and having nothing to show for it. Then consider in the worst case scenario the Bills would have to travel 3 hours south by car to play in an empty or mostly empty stadium.....it really becomes a no brainer.....you dont risk injuring your key players....you are likely to still get the 2 seed.

If MVP is purely a stat award, lets name it that. Most Valuable Player...to his team, to his league, what exactly is the criteria? I have heard people in the media pontificate and it is honestly not clear there is good criteria but the consensus seems to be the most valuable player to his teams success for the year. With any of the players mentioned (Mahomes, Rodgers, Henry, Wilson, Allen, etc) they are all super critical to their teams success. Taking other positions out of it, I think the Bills, Chiefs. Hawks and Packers all have worse records if they did not have their QB's. Which one is most important to their team, which one affects the win-loss record the most? That is a guessing game so that is where it comes down to stats to compare these players. Personally I think Josh falls short when you see what Rodgers and Mahomes have done. I don't think it is disrespect to say that, it does not mean all that much at the end of the day. We will see which team raises the Lombardi soon enough. Rodgers output with the lack of turnovers does is where my (unbiased) vote would go. Looking at all those stats shows me Allen still has room to grow, he has not reached his ceiling yet and realistically he can do better than he has this year.
