Something I was thinking about. If the start of this season went exactly the way it did except if Daboll had been hired by LA and Dorsey was OC, the vitriol going his direction would be out of control. Dorsey would be getting the blame.
He said some stuff that people will say is obvious or whatever. Like they stopped them on every play….except busted coverages. I thought he was fine and did a good job talking about the line play. But I’m not surprised he is getting criticized.
I think you also have to give credit to the bills for developing epenesa. Last year he was scratched a couple times. COVID did not help but he was an absolute beast today.
Its funny, the only thing I turn on ESPN on these days is for NFL games that are not available anywhere else. I find Sportscenter and Gameday to be awful. I like their 30/30 and E60 stuff, other than that I have no use for the network
The Bills are worse than the Texans, Bengals, Dolphins and Broncos, they suck. But they are way better than the Packers, they are at the bottom of the NFL after today.
I think the idea was to get them all focused on a QB sneak and find a way to get the ball outside everyone with a guy with speed. It did not work out, move on.
This game had playoff intensity and big plays here and there made the difference. Fans will over react and find faults with the Bills but what I saw was a Pittsburgh team that was underestimated by fans. Their OL was not good as advertised but they have great defensive players and they had a great defensive game plan. The bills are still what we thought but there is work to do.
Steelers are physical and aggressive and healthy. They won the game more than the bills list IMO and were underestimated by a lot. Don’t panic the bills will be fine.
