Derrick Henry is a unicorn at the RB position. His size, speed and up to now, durability make him significantly different than any other RB in the league.
Unpopular opinion. But I thinks it’s better but the job is way harder than people realize. Expectations are way up. Look at the 80s games on YouTube. You will see ints called that were 100% not ints. Same with fumbles and tds. They get those right now. They get catches right way more than a few years back when any little thing made a play not a catch.
holding PI and other subjective calls are still inconsistent and are the reason for almost all criticism. The pi replay replay tried was awful. Might need to rethink that some way.
if you are looking for holding or pi or hands to the face on a scoring play you will likely find. It. Do you really want all those called back?
also bills fans like fans of any team can point to all the non calls that killed their team. Yet they have little to say about non calls that would have gone against the bills. My point is there is a big fanatical bias to ref criticism.
We should make sure to win the game....no matter what people assume, those are legit NFL players in Jacksonville. You start dropping the ball, missing tackles, giving up some big plays you can actually lose...it is possible.
Personally, I am not concerned about it. I do think Josh has been "off" at times. For instance the first drive when he missed Diggs on 3rd down....that would have been a big gainer. They have room to improve all the while leading the league in points scored...first world problems...
Allen’s year 1 and 2 stats weight him down a lot right now. Since that is more than half his games and he was eratic. If you consider improvement over time one will stand out a lot.
The stats show them clearly #1, agree that is probably not accurate, who you play matters. But they are better than last years defense after the bye which was pretty darn good. I think their success is largely based on scheme and matchups. With a bad gameplan/matchup they can be exploited. But all defenses fall under that same umbrella these days.
Agreed, this one will be interesting. This has been his best season IMO, is that because he is figuring it out or because he is working for a potential contract/5th year option? I guess if he wants to be in Buffalo and the Bills would want him longer term maybe there is a moderate deal (that fans will probably think is too high) that can be struck.
They Bills are undefeated coming off the bye under McDermott. I do get your point of the them being flat in general. Not sure I consider opening week coming off long rest, I mean I get it, they have not played in 6 months but all teams are equally coming to the table in the same situation. Bye weeks are different. You could also consider coming off Thursday games which is not as significant...
I mean he is a rental with the possibility to franchise. Broncos save about 9 mil from what I can tell they can use for their future along with those draft picks. Their future is not 2021.....
