Im sure the opponent would not like it but it’s life in the big city. If it’s the bills and josh Allen not available would you want them to try to adjust?
I think they would try to make reasonable accommodations, move the game out a couple days, not past Tuesday though. There are teams that wont be in the post season because of Covid already.
I understand the weather concern but would you rather play KC at home or on the road, Cinci at home or on the road, Tenn at home or on the road. Given the choice, would you really choose on the road?
You would have to do a cost benefit analysis which I assume has been done and shows the payback is not there. From what I have seen online, studies have shown the playback is not there for these expensive venues.
Things have changed, public support for these types of things has gone down a lot. The game is a lot more profitable now than in 1970 even if you adjust for inflation. California has lost support for these and have lost teams as a result so I get what you are saying....but advocating for a much more expensive option so a couple games a year are in a better environment seems irresponsible unless the Pegula's are self funding....or some random fan pony's up the "extra half a bil"
It is a half a billion, what do you think that is exactly, pocket change? And where does it come from? Start a gofund me, come up with a million, you will still be 499 million short.
This is dead....and frankly has been a long shot for quite some time. 18 turnovers....6 losses....no close wins. Maybe another year....this is the year for the SB, its ok. If you won the Tenn game late, won the Bucs game in OT, maybe you could have a discussion.
Its attitude....and the defense they are playing. My opinion, a great offense can be great running and/or great passing, you need both depending on the game situation/opponent/weather/strategy of opponent.
