I loved when they used the whole play clock to run the fake spike play …that was genius If Allen were throwing, Hyde would have been two steps away when the ball hit Aghalor's hand Absolutely correct. However Jones is capable of making that play just has to be more on time. Allen can be late and throw a laser beam like he did to Sanders his jock is on the 40 yard line.

Refs and bad calls have ramifications
Matt_In_NH replied to SlimShady'sSpaceForce's topic in The Stadium Wall
I understand the inadvertent whistle rule but I am curious about other opinion about that play. 1. Do you think it impacted the play? I did not, the ball was nearly in the WR's hands when I heard the whistle. I am aware this is not open to interpretation and the call should have been replay. 2. If this were Diggs in the endzone against KC next week and the same play happens, they call inadvertent whistle and replay the down, resulting in an INT and Bills lose by 3. Would you feel they got screwed or would you feel the "refs did their job"? For me, the refs were damned if they do and damned if they dont, I think they knew it blew midplay and thought it had no impact and then "convinced" themselves it was after the catch.....and not reviewable. -
My daughter was watching with me which normally she would not have.

Is McDermott in Belicheck’s head?
Matt_In_NH replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall
Are there any good McDermott Belichick memes? I would like to see one with McDermott’s angry face on a dwarf spanking BB. Maybe something from the movie ELF. -
I live in NE and so this is especially sweet. Before the first game in early Dec, this guy at work said to me "The Bills are good but they need to work on their defense", which was ridiculous since the Bills were 1 in yards and 2nd in points at the time. He was just ignorant, I did not mention that stuff......cant wait to see him Tuesday.

Do you want Daboll to leave for a HC job?
Matt_In_NH replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
All the power to him....seriously, that is like a 25 million guaranteed deal minimum vs what make a million a year in Buffalo. Go get that money, most likely he will be canned within 3 years and can come back. The Bills can get along without him, I am confident in that, some want that to happen anyway. Although I have often thought with this years struggles, if it was with a new OC (had Daboll gotten the LA job) the guy would have been crucified....absolutely demolished in these forums. So whoever it is will likely look forward to having fans calling for his firing from day 1. -
Sign him as backup next year

So is Knox getting another septer this week?

I definitely think McDermott takes it personal but not sure if that is just because of something between them or just because of who BB is and his understanding of what it has been for the Bills. In any event, gotta love it! From what I have seen, BB respects McDermott. I wonder if BB is feeling "run down" today?

Josh Allen Can't Play in the Cold
Matt_In_NH replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall
Correlation vs Causation.....This is simply a case of not having all the information. Ignore the games played in years 1 and 2, there were other weather elements in those games, wind, rain most importantly that also affected things. -
We all know Josh owns the Dolphins....I think we are getting to the point we can say that about the Pats also. These include two severe wind games 2020 Game 1: 11/18, 61%, 143 yards, 0 TD's, 1 INT (Wind game #1) 2020 Game 2: 27/36, 75% 320 yards, 4 TD's, 1 INT 2021 game 1: 15/30 50%, 145 yards, 1 TD, 0 INT's (Wind game #2) 2021 game 2: 30/47, 64%, 314 yards, 3 TD's, 0 INT's 2021 game 3: 21/25, 84%, 308 yards, 5 TD's, 0 INT's (legendary playoff performance) Total, 104/156, 67%, 1241 yards, 13 TD's, 1 INT Not including the rushing here at all which is like another 200 yards and a TD. The Bills are 4-1 in the last five games and personally I think Josh was on point in the loss, just had to go into that wind in the 4th.....that wont happen a lot.

The angle on TV was not the best, when they said interception I assumed it was some kind of ricochet or something. That was such a huge play.

The Bills and Singletary included have changed their approach to running. We dont see the dancing out of him as much, he is hitting the holes and getting what he can.
-
I never thought they were as bad as they appeared to be. This OL was great in pass pro last year and we are finally seeing that again. They also can run block when they decide to. Not sure what changed but I don think it is just Bates....I think it was some scheme, some attitude, some getting healthy and some finding the right 5.

Why/how was that bad....just cause they did not score all day they were getting short yardage...........
