Who does Tre take over for when he returns?
Matt_In_NH replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
I trust the coaches to make that decision. Looks like the Bills have good depth any way you cut it. -
that is what I thought too.....they might have offered a practice squad spot and he was like peace out.

The DL looks really good this year. However what are peoples thoughts on Epenesa? It seems he always starts the season with hype has a good game or two and then vanishes. Last week he was at the low end of snap counts after being at the top at the beginning of the year. Starting to lose hope this guy figures it out.

He is terrible but it’s better now that the bills are good. Also they don’t push their political views anymore when I have listened recently which is great.

Down to three healthy wr’s at the end of the game. How is that different from week 1 when down to 2 healthy dts or week three when down to 5 healthy ol? Injuries are part of the game. Going into a game with 5 wrs is not abnormal. Guys getting injured is not abnormal. the bills are second i passing second, third in yards fifth in points. McKenzie will likely be back this week. What problem are we solving? Honest question. If the bills need to fix something in offense is running with the rbs. If the bills had obj they still would have had three healthy wrs. They have had to go deep at cb and dt from the ps. They will have to do that now for wr. You know who needs to step up? The franchise TE with the big contract. We can’t just accept his lack of production he needs to be part of the solution. It sounds like you are just writing him off since he has started slow. Smart to look for talent? Sure. All I am saying is OBJ is not healthy and even once cleared it will take time for him to get to full strength. It could not happen this year at all. And we are going to use 8 million in cap for that?

Here we are waiting for Tre and wondering how long it will take him to ramp up and get back to speed after tearing his ACL on Thanksgiving. Now here is a WR who tore his ACL in the SB and people seem to assume he is some savior from our injuries, I just dont see it. Not to mention the BIlls are second in passing yards and TD passes. We are worried about depth and we should be in the near term but McKenzie and Davis should get healthy, Crowder is done for a while but do we need to panic buy?

Bills and Tavon Austin mutually part ways
Matt_In_NH replied to Steel City Mafia's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think the min is 11K per week, not sure what he had. He has made 40 million in the NFL, he could just be deciding its not worth his time for 11k per week. Also, the timing with the injuries suggests he was hoping to play this week and was told that was not happening, hes making peanuts and butt hurt so he took his ball and went home. -

Not surprised, the amount of money you make on the PS is pretty small for a guy who has made 40 million. Assuming Hodgins is playing this week over him and that set him off. -
Josh Norris highlighting Gabe clearly not 100 percent

Hopefully they perform a hands transplant stat! -
It seems like he gets the ball, there is a wall of defenders and the play has no chance nearly every time.

Allen is the Bills only short yardage option
Matt_In_NH replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall
Since the Tenn game last year this has been an issue, maybe longer. This used to be automatic and now they can't get a push. Brady still does it at 450 years old. The OL need to man up. -
Bills once again tops in the league at 4th down decision making
Matt_In_NH replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
I guess Kromer has not had magical affects on these guys. OL is something that can improve during the course of the season, communication among the OL and scheme changes can be adjusted. -

Gameday decisions start and stop with the head coach. If he put others in place to help him make the right decisions, he still gets credit as he should. If his instincts are bad (I think this is what you think) he could overrule the others who are helping him, but he does not, in the end, they are HIS decisions. Nothing to do with McDermott is a ridiculous statement. -
He had 4 fumbles as a rookie and 4 since (2.25 years). He has improved but still suspect in that area. Defenders in general punch at balls a lot more than they used to. RB's more than ever need to always be secure in their handling of the ball.

Disagree The directions were to force a fumble or let him score. Its easier to try and force a fumble when you dont care to tackle the guy.
-
I noticed a few times he made great tackles on Lamar. When he decides to make the crackle he is decisive aggressive and got him down.

Davis Webb to Start for the Giants on Sunday

Tyrod can't make it through a game or two. -
The play was huge, but the answer to your question is we don't know. If the Bills gain the 76 yards they did starting from the 20 they are well within FG range. If it goes to OT, all things being equal 50/50 the Bills win. Not sure how we can conclude "completely different outcome"

WR - Almost as Decimated as Secondary

The McKenzie prognosis is likely wrong. Old dirty bastard? -
They should be in their own division called “poop colors”
