I agree you are highlighting some differences between then and now but this is more societal/general vs Bills specific. I think from a Bills perspective it is similar. One thing that is different is we have some large scars now....losing 4 straight SB's does that. It feels like more pressure to me even though the pressure was huge then too. Losing a 5th SB....twitter will have a field day. For the 90's teams, I was in HS and Sunday was ESPN from 10-noon, then NFL Today, watch games, watch ESPN primetime. That was your source of seeing highlights, if you missed it you missed it. Unless you were a weird person who played with VHS tapes a lot.

I thought he was pretty important when he picked off Mac Jones in the playoffs. the bills have a great roster. They can lose a guy and still do well in many cases. That does not mean the my don’t lose something when an all pro goes down. After enough hits to the roster it will become evident. We can say the same about Tre. There is no doubt scheme/coaching helps these guys. But they are pros and do their job well. The bills will probably my have to make tough roster decisions in future off seasons. Up til now they have kept most of what they wanted to keep. That will probably have to change.

Probably right but I view them as a wounded cornered animal at this point....with Rodgers they can be dangerous. They have no choice but to try and do things differently since nothing they have been doing has been working.

This is where I am also, It's a gamble that for me comes down to how much will it cost. The Chiefs may be willing to make a longer commitment to him that the Bills also.
