  1. He had a short NFL career due to the USFL start and probably a little too much partying/not enough attention to nutrition. Comparing stats from a a guy today like Fitz to guys from a previous era should not be done straight up. Guys from the 70s and 80s would be terrible if they had the stats today they did then. It has been 39 years since Kelly was drafted.
  2. I disagree, Dawkins butt made tackled Allen...Simmons kicked his butt on that play.
  3. He was terrible for a while at the beginning of last year and I agree he turned it around. I was surprised he made the Pro Bowl but I also do not sit there and grade every lineman on every play and since this was his first pro bowl election (meaning, not a repeat name that happens with the PB often), I tend to believe he earned it. the QB sneak at the end of the Tenn game is hard to forget though...when the tackle gets his azz blown into the QB...never remember seeing that before.
  4. How many bottles of beer?
  5. Did you get a notice or it was just on your bill?
  6. I watch ESPN when the Bills are on only ESPN. NFL Network is way better for NFL coverage and I mostly dont care about the other sports anymore.
  7. He made a nice leap in 2021 and had 49 catches for 587 yards and 9 TD's. . While he did "lead the league" in TD's, I am not putting him in the top tier of TE's just yet, 9 TD's leading the league is actually lowish for the league for a TE compared to other years and part of the reason he got 9 is because of number 17. I love Knox, but to justify top 5 TE money I would like to see more production, the fact Njoku got what he got makes negotiating tough for the Bills. What is his grade as a blocker? I do think he is capable growing more still but it would be nice in this offense to see him up around 800-1000 yards if we are paying him 15 million per. Having said all that, if he is getting an extension, it is always better to do it sooner than later.
  8. I was trying to figure out if that was a TV screen, that would have been awesoem if it was...
  9. Just stop giving the 4th alternate full credit as being a pro bowler.
  10. I dont know what huge is but it averages about 7 million viewers which is pretty large..SNF averages about 19 million.
  11. Do these studies take into account guys who are kind of on the fringe, on rosters, contribute in some way, tear their ACL and then ends up killing their career? Sometimes guys are on the last year of their deal and a team opts to go with a healthy guy the next year and the player is stuck rehabbing themselves. I think that scenario may skew some of the findings vs say All Pro's who have the teams full resources in play during rehab.
  12. I dont watch, pretty sure you dont watch.....yet it gets huge ratings, so they wont cancel it...its income.
  13. I like Pat a lot more than Jim but they are a good listen. I heard they had done the AFC East and I went and listed to it on demand. I was somewhat surprised how well the Bills ranked. Specifically in backups which I still think is weak. Pat gives a lot of credit for snaps and starts of the backups with relative disregard for performance. My takeaway is while I do think the Bills don't have good depth, not many teams do either. In fact a lot of teams backups have little to zero NFL game experience.
  14. I don't think anyone is playing football with a .24, that is drunk off your azz. Maybe really experience alcoholics can function that drunk? Tend to doubt it, the events that transpired kind of prove that.
  15. Yeah, then we will have to count up instances of "meh's" to do a deep dive.
  16. It’s amazing that Beane has done such a terrible job of building a roster yet the Bills are routinely pointed to as having the most complete roster in the league. not sure how those two are mutually exclusive.
  17. Number three completely goes against what the NFL is trying to do, limit concussions on kickoffs. The best way to do that is to have less returns. It is true you can get hurt on any play but statistically kickoffs were way up there.
  18. Diggs burns extra energy going from hotel room to hotel room.
  19. So who buys the tickets?
  20. No, it is projected around 223 or 225, which is a bump from this year.
  21. I saw about 5 million yesterday. Next year we are 12 million in the hole.
  22. I sympathize with Browns fans but the owner is a scumbag, part of me hopes this totally blows up in their face and they pay him 230 million to never play a down.
  23. Bills Others
  24. 8 games per year is a small sample, 3 or 4 of them being affected by weather has an impact. How was he in the three home playoff games? Quite outstanding.....this is a red herring, sometimes stats do lie, and you have to dive deeper.
