It was a weird game, I agree to a point, scoring 17 points is just not enough. The defense got some stops but the offense also limited the possessions Miami had by having long drives which greatly benefited the defense. Unfortunately they did not close(score) enough. The long drive in the third quarter where Davis almost scored took a lot of the offense. The heat played a role in not scoring in the third and fourth quarters, at least you wont convince me otherwise.

Who wen out for non heat related things? Bendford, what was his injury Bates - head. Seems most guys clear Van Roten, what was his injury?

This is what I thought also.

The stadium was built with no partial roof, so back then everyone baked. I went to a game there in 95 degree weather, no clouds, no wind and it was brutal, most of the fans went in the tunnels to watch on TV which is why they built the partial roof. It worked out to their advantage of course, which would you choose?

Agree. People seem to think possession and two feet is enough because in this situation it would have benefited the bills. If it was the other way around people would recall the rule better. It’s just fan bias. What could have flipped that play is Davis holding on.

It was a clear as day fumble and they did review it. Called Turnovers are not challengeable because they are automatically reviewed.

Because it would not have been reversed and they needed that timeout. If he challenged and lost the timeout he would be criticized for that. Some of the criticism is not warranted

I laughed when I saw it. Sure he should be more composed but you cannot question if he is all in. I have heard a lot about how competitive he is within the building. I think we just saw this is true.

My least favorite play in their playbook is the read option when Josh keeps it most of the time. I am sure you can find times when that worked but with the OL situation I thought it’s sucked down at the goal line.
