  1. For decades people were concussed all the time and we just said they got their bell rung, they continued playing and for the vast majority of the cases there was no impact. Sometimes in the case of a severe concussion guys would be out. Now we find plays where someone bumped their head and try to pontificate how that must have caused bad play for that game and next week. His elbow is a bigger concern to me.....waiting/hoping for them to tell us he is day to day or just fine.
  2. Internet people doing internet things
  3. His contract year is next year but I agree, he has not been great. Sometimes he can generate a pass rush.
  4. Not sold on Bass completely but I dont think you can do better on the street. Not going to blame him for the loss for not hitting a 55 yarder. In today's game you do need to hit from that distance but we should not expect 100%.
  5. Went to the game and drove back to NH last night....what a frustrating game to watch. But I will say the Jets had a great gameplan, tried some special plays, philly special, onside kick, fake punt and some coverages they have not shown....basically they put everything on the line and squeaked it out when the Bills did not have their A game. I will say for me the biggest issue is turnovers....interceptions by Josh, 8 is simply too many, it needs to get cleaned up. In a game like yesterday when some the other team has a good gameplan one of the ways you can still win as the better team is not shooting yourself in the foot. Don't give them opportunities and Josh made some boneheaded throws. The Bills are among the league leaders in turnovers, it should not be surprising this causes a loss eventually. Don't turn it over, punting is ok...its a mindset...do NOT turn it over, it might be boring and frustrating for fans sometimes but just keep grinding, it works. Turnovers on the road are a huge momentum giver to the opponent. Hopefully this will be the kick in the pants they need to get the sloppiness out of their game.
  6. Contracts and other factors are overlooked by many
  7. Are you SOOOOO offended?
  8. What is more annoying than the phrase "Let Russ cook"?
  9. Josh a little shaky this half
  10. Aaron jones is untacklable by the first two guys. All night
  11. Good video. Definitely lines up with what we see….blitzing him is live by the sword die by the sword but you randomize it and get some stops. It has been somewhat successful but that also should present some huge play opportunities the rest of the season since we know teams will copy this.
  12. Start with a good grip and lose the chair https://www.google.com/search?q=how+to+grip+a+football&rlz=1CDGOYI_enUS745US745&oq=how+to+grip+a+foo&aqs=chrome.0.0i512j69i57j0i512l4.12752j0j4&hl=en-US&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8
  13. It comes with the territory but people are just making all kinds of assumptions and judgements here. How many men in their 40's will just give up their life passion because the wife wants him home more? People here seem to think his wife should just tell him how to live his life and he should just go along with it. It's hard to relate because its football, they have more money than God and most other people don't have a realistic option to give up their work. But again, this is probably more than just his work, it is his life's passion..it's his identity, the end is obviously near, he can't put it down and the restart in 5 year or something. Not being ready to be done is reasonable and while her position may be job or family, he likely feels he can do both...which I bet most you you also think you can have a job and be a family man even when you have to sacrifice at times.
  14. We are one big Mafia family living in the flat world
  15. Sure this sucks for them not sure its a "big blow for playoff chances" though.
  16. The wind is going to be so confused!
  17. Those will get cut
  18. I agree you are highlighting some differences between then and now but this is more societal/general vs Bills specific. I think from a Bills perspective it is similar. One thing that is different is we have some large scars now....losing 4 straight SB's does that. It feels like more pressure to me even though the pressure was huge then too. Losing a 5th SB....twitter will have a field day. For the 90's teams, I was in HS and Sunday was ESPN from 10-noon, then NFL Today, watch games, watch ESPN primetime. That was your source of seeing highlights, if you missed it you missed it. Unless you were a weird person who played with VHS tapes a lot.
  19. I hope they both somehow lose
