Not saying he cannot help but the Bills offense is doing fine without him. Top 5 in yards and points. They are throwing for about 30 yards more per game than when he was here last season. TD passes are on the same clip. Third down conversion rate at the top of the league. There seems to be an assumption that is some huge dropoff, there is not. What is different is redzone performance, and especially turnovers in the redzone. Not sure how much of that a guy like Beasley can fix, he is more a move the chains guy which they are still doing. While it would be fun for him to come back, I dont think it solves their issues. IMO the issues are Josh making decisions and maybe play calls in the redzone.

Oliver got boned last thanksgiving too if I am remembering correctly. The man deserves a turkey leg!

Bills fans are very interested in getting the one seed vs the Chiefs getting it and for good reason. However, there are a bunch of other factors. Number one is that the Bills are in a dog fight for the division. They are 0-2 now, they really cannot afford to drop another division game. Anyway, lets assume the Bills and Chiefs win out, in that scenario, the Bills would be the 2 seed, Chiefs the 1 seed. In that scenario in order for them to play it would be in the championship game in KC but KC would have two win and the Bills would have to win 2 games for that to happen. It is possible, another team could upset KC in the divisional round. Even if it ends up being Bills at Chiefs, do we really think the Bills cannot win? They have won two of the last three in KC and if the Bills staff did not choke, it would be three in a row and the narrative would revolve around can the Chiefs beat the Bills! Also, lets say the Bills get the one seed and KC comes to Buffalo in the playoffs, is it no guarantee the Bills win that game and if they were to lose, the narrative would be worse than if Buffalo lost in KC. My point is there is a lot of football left, lots of things can or might happen, no matter how it shakes out, this team can get it together and win. For the next three weeks, the focus is on taking control of the division. Even with the injuries, they have to figure out how to win these games.

I think the bigger thing with the Thursday games is that the Bills had 3 road Thursday games this year if you count the kickoff game. It is generally hard to win on the road on Thursday statistically. The fact they have two in a row is actually smart by the NFL. Two Thursday games, one short week, one mini bye vs disrupting two weeks with the short turnaround.

He will be eligible after four weeks but they would have to free up a roster spot by waiving or IRing someone. There is a chance if Rhodes and white play well they will just leave him there.

I did not catch that. It could just be they like Rhodes better right now and Benford had an injury so he got sat down even it it was gonna just be a couple weeks.

I wonder if Rhodes or another team was pushing the issue.
