Treatment of opposing team fans(your experience)
Matt_In_NH replied to PatsFanNH's topic in The Stadium Wall
I have went to Houston, NY Jets, Patriots, Dolphins and Packers away games, have never had a big problem. There was a kid at the Dolphins game who was just a complete jerk. I have witness Bills fans throwing snowballs (fastballs) aimed for the heads of patriots fans in OP, I did not like seeing that but it was also funny at the same time. However, when there is good packing snow around and a rival is in town, probably idiots from any fan base would do this. Idiots are the exception not the rule. -
TJ Watt misses 9 games and get in....not surprised but its just a popularity thing

I signed up for the crappy DTV service and paid for the ticket (sometimes free, usually reduced) but I never would have had DTV if it was not for sunday ticket, will be cancelling soon and cannot wait. We will pay whoever has it LOL. The other thing is the "other streaming options" which are out there. If they charge too much people may be more willing to go that route. I would expect Google to put a big effort in to shut those down.

THey also will have more people to sell to, lots of people did not want a dish on their house. So maybe there is an opportunity for a la carte. All I am saying, is google will be looking to make money on the $2billion each year. DTV used it as a lost leader and in the end it may have worked for a while but it ultimately failed.

$180 for 18 weeks....but you would skip some weeks right, for isntance the BIlls on Sunday night, Thursday night, Monday night or national window or you have things going on that weekend. Directv sold it for $300 and it was a big loser for them. The contract is costing Google more than DTV was paying, I dont think Google will lose money like DTV did, that means it will come from the consumer. Maybe there are more consumers now so the price can be less per but they are doing this to make money.
-
Unfortunately, Google will probably monetize this better than DirecTV did. There will not be a "retention department" to call. Anyone expecting some kind of ala carte thing will be disappointed. The value of Sunday ticket is fans out of the market of their team....that is what will generate most of the money. They "give" you everything even though you can only watch one 1PM and one 4PM game.

MVP; Hurts / Allen / Mahomes by the numbers...
Matt_In_NH replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall
If the bills get the one seed and Allen keeps turnovers down over the final three and he beats Burrow and has reasonable numbers he will be in the conversation. Stats will likely look a little better for mahomes but you can point to Allen beat mahomes. Hurts will also be in the conversation but if he misses time that will go against him some. -
Opponents' 3rd and long scare anyone else?
Matt_In_NH replied to The Red King's topic in The Stadium Wall
Average does not feel right for this defense but there have been lots of injuries and they have played tougher opponents than say last year. -
This is the internet not the courtroom. People can have whatever opinion suits them based on the video. I think you significantly edited this post but video is very damning it’s not just someone’s interpretation of what might have happened. You can see it with your own eyes. can’t wait to find out what led to it.
