Bills/Dolphins Wild Card pre-game thread
Matt_In_NH replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
Turned on nh network last night they were replaying g the bills dolphins game deo Dec. it was the end of the third quarter and the dolphins were winning 26-21. No Tua and others the bills should win but tirnivers and big plays can be an equalizer. I expect the dolphins to take shots. With Eil Enkou promoted I think we can assume Jordan Phillips is not playing. Speculation is he has a labrum injury which means it is not healing this year and that greatly limits his effectiveness. That sucks because he has the potential to be a difference maker. Oliver has also not been all that visible recently. This DL needs to bring it for the bills to win the SB. Also assuming mckenzie is not playing which I would say roves the jet action to some degree which he is great at. But this team does not seem to like to do much of that anyway so not as concerned about him missing. It will force the issue with Beasley or someone else to step up. -

I knew Belichick was on this board I think it just gives the kicker and the holder a visual of exactly where the ball is going to be

Any given Sunday is real....just win the game. -
Do you think CBS will pull Romo and Nantz off Bills-Fins?
Matt_In_NH replied to Dan Darragh's topic in The Stadium Wall
only game for CBS so pulling wont happen. -

Good thing, evidently we were scared poopless of Tua https://finheaven.com/threads/the-fear-of-tua.376754/ I am literally on the Buffalo forums threads right now and they are sweating bullets on whether Tua will be cleared to play this Sunday against the Bills. I mean they are posters openly suggesting that the Bills should intentionally injure Tua to get him out of the game! Wait you have the better QB and better team then why are they so afraid of Tua? Maybe they know something that I already know and it is this when Tua is on his A game he can go toe to toe with Josh and beat the Bills anywhere in extreme heat or a snowstorm. We have all witnessed a glimpse of Tua's possibility this season. 1. Elite accuracy 2. Ability to read and progress defenses quickly 3. Can throw the deep pass his (Arm ain't that weak as some thought) underrated arm strength 4. Great pocket presence -

The game certainly seems like a much more likely win with Thompson playing but I would never celebrate a guy being out. In a perfect world the Dolphins have Tua and others, and the Bills have Hyde and Miller -

Did not listen but Burr is funny as heck. -
Lots of things being ruled out does not mean there could be some other condition that has not been discovered. This is good news, hopefully he is 100% healthy and can even consider coming back to play but I would think there would always be a concern, what if... I think Reggie Lewis had some DR's saying he should not continue and one gave him the all clear, that did not go well.

Even though he is so controversial, I think I would prioritize Edmunds, then Oliver and Poyer I let Poyer go because of his age and assumed contract demands. You have to be willing to move on from people even when it hurts. They need to find the next diamond in the rough at safety. Before the season I would have picked Oliver as 1, but he has not had a breakout year, he is a decent player who shows up in some games but other games he is invisible. Not sure what his market is, I would pay medium money for him maybe but not big dollars.

Malik Boyd - in consideration for Titans GM

After seen how Beane worked leaving Caroline and Schein with NYG, this is a valid concern. Its not the guy himself its all the after affects...stealing from our practice squad etc. But this is a byproduct of being a top notch organization.
