  1. For that game vs the Ravens I think the whole world agrees including Babich....it was not the right gameplan.
  2. It seems highly likely Josh has a broken bone or bones but it likely happened when his right elbow landed right on his left hand where the two fingers are tied together. Rousseau….guys limp here and there all the time. But he has struggled with “nagging” type injuries. The bills will only play a 4-3 in specific situations. Look at the forest through the trees. The team is great on defense when you look at the body of work. You want to take an all pro off the field for Williams? I noticed Torrence’s was ranked 34 or 34 on PFF. It’s PFF but still…I hav not noticed him really killing them but sure at some point if the best 5 is another combination that could happen. However it could just be Anderson to RG. I don’t think they will move McGovern.
  3. Weird question. Do you watch games or just post on a bills forum?
  4. He is almost 32, the Bills cannot easily afford it so unless they eat the salary I don't and then you trade as a rental I cannot see it.
  5. So what is the associated move to get this guy on the roster?
  6. Ed Oliver got owned all night with his gap penetration like an an excited puppy style...see the 87 yard TD..I am no expert, again not saying Jones is great but there is more to the run story than Daquan Jones. And going by stats of a 1 technique with a 4 game sample size I dont think is of much value. Some of the other advanced stats are probably much better.
  7. I heard he is better than McDermott. Ross Tucker told us. Finheaven hates him…three fins down
  8. The Bills invite the run by scheme. The game vs the Ravens is skewing the data big time. Listen to the Joe Marino all 22 review yesterday.....scheme was a big problem with light boxes and personnel. Not saying D Jones is perfect but I think the evidence shows it is not his problem.
  9. Also, there was not necessarily a problem with "separation", it was poor gameplanning and blocking which is kind of what it looked like. He also talked about mostly dropback passes vs I think play action and rollouts...
  10. THey must not like Austin Johnson, he lost reps to the rookie....unless someone got injured.
  11. He is nursing broken bones(best guess) in his left hand. He has not lost a step, he is limited.....not sure why that is not getting discussed more TBH. It did not matter vs the fish and Jags but it did vs the Ravens. Hopefully the glove comes off soon.
  12. Ok Bass is not as good as those guys. We already knew that and they are not available. What about guys the bills could sign? Or the rest of the league so we know where bass really stands.
  13. I dont think it is a certainty another concussion will happen....he made it 17 games last year.........he will not be putting his head down and running into someone though.
  14. His career FG% is 81%, Bass is 84%. Maybe Bass is trending low but McManus will miss some too.
  15. I don't have the same conclusion at all.......but keep pounding the square peg into the round hole.
  16. and do the old school arm kickoff like we did as kids on the playground....... "get rid of Bass" is not nearly as simple as people seem to think it is.
  17. I expected them to have some success running the ball, I did not expect Henry to get 150 yards before contact.......their OL is new this year and they were struggling and hurt...I expected more from out DL. I get the data from last year but those teams are not the Bills caliber. Having said that I am good, not going to over react, just move on, the only thing that really matters is playoff success at this point, lose by 1 or 40 in week four...who cares.
  18. I dont think it was every retired...but I think they have not given it out much. Senorise Perry wore it. Edit...it was "returned to circulation" in 19 https://billswire.usatoday.com/2019/05/22/buffalo-bills-return-32-oj-simpson-ralph-wilson-senorise-perry/
  19. Agree the design was poor, execution just as bad. But the point it happened seemed fine, momentum was swinging big time, having that "work" would have potentially changed the way the rest of the game was played. A turnover there was terrible but I dont hate the idea of trying something, that play though seemed like it had no chance from the beginning. Josh should have ate it...there was nothing downfield.
  20. I get it the BIlls build the defense differently, is it really a problem though? Was it really even last night? Look at the plays Henry gained big yards, he was 100% untouched til he was well into the secondary and on the TD he was untouched, period. This is lack of fundamentals and getting in position. Now size and physicality can play into that but I see the problems last night as lack of discipline rather than just getting run over. Look at the Bills overall success on defense. The Bills have the least points against and second least yards against the last 5 years. I think the most recent game is making people draw incorrect conclusions. https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/nfl-defense-allow-fewest-yards-last-5-years https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/fewest-points-allowed-last-5-years-nfl
