  1. For all the talk about RB value......his was terrible but there was no dead money if the Bills walked. The Bills negotiated it down but took a decent dead cap if they moved on which was/is not going to happen. My opinion of how Beane handled the redo of his contract was that he overpaid and was trying to justify the trade of the draft pick a little. This sucks for Hines so I do understand the human value. But Hines is the top paid RB on the team and he is 3rd or fourth string....with returnability. He was a highly paid kick returner on this team. The touchback thing? The Bills often return if out of the end zone when they are in their rights to down it.
  2. Now we have to hear theiybthing that matters is more wide receivers. “Defense does not matter”. “Defense shmefense” and other complete nonsense.
  3. They can cover whatever he is doing. Could be charity could be farming could be life with friends could be about bills mafia. I don’t think lack of wife changes much
  4. Maybe because he was 3rd in rookie of the year, 3 pro bowls in first 4 years, threw for 4800 yards and better than a 4 to 1 TD to INT ratio. Not sure, just a random guess.
  5. The quality of the player always matters with this stuff.
  6. Travis Henry has as many kids as touchdowns.
  7. That is the very last thing I would be tempted to bring up.
  8. They can blame data/facts not twitterers
  9. Trade Oliver to the titans for Dhop?
  10. Mahomes and the chiefs were 0-3 vs the bengals regular season and playoffs.
  11. There is a lot of manipulation going on. The bigger concern is how much future caps are leveraged.
  12. I listened to this and it is pretty good. Worth the time if you are driving and need something
  13. I dont think the bolded is real. The Chiefs lost 3 games last year, in two of them Mahomes threw an INT to end the game. You dont win all your games, no one does and many times you end the game with the ball. 2021 is an anomaly.....Allen has been great against Mahomes in money situations. The difference is lack of super bowl's. I have been saying this all offseason...fans are upset because yeah the offense scored points but it did not look easy enough. I think the "look easy enough" correlates with the redzone numbers. I agree, they can improve but the overall output isn't likely to change much. At this point it is Super Bowl or bust with this team, the expectations are sky high and they should be. Does not really matter what happens in the regular season if they lay an egg in the playoffs.
  14. Nice downer
  15. It's the offseason....a few weeks ago I was trying to find Josh's stats vs certain teams and I thought it would be interesting to take a look. There is a cool site called statmuse that has this kind of information (links below). Josh Allen Vs Dolphins Stats: 10 games, 8-2 Record 63.8% 2,684 yards, 27 TD passes, 5 INT's 554 rushing yards and 4 more TD's 7 fumbles with 2 lost Josh has been a Dolphin Killer, he has 4 AFC Player of the week's in those 10 games. The two losses were in Miami when he threw a ball that could have been caught to win the games. Having said all that, I think Miami found themselves a good coach and I think the going will get tougher moving forward. For all of the long time fans, smacking the Dolphins around is the best trait any player can have, he has been ridiculously awesome against them. He is also 1-0 in the playoffs and ended their season the year before in the last game of the season in Buffalo. https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/josh-allen-stats-versus-miami-dolphins https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/josh-allen-rushing-stats-versus-miami-dolphins Josh Allen Vs Patriots Stats: 9 games, 5-4 record 58.6%, 1,988 yards, 16 TD's and 7 INT's 296 yards rushing and 2 more TD's 3 fumbles with 2 lost Vs the Patriots, Josh started his career terribly, one game he had 3 INT's and he lost his first three and 6 of his total 7 interceptions were in his first three games. So I think it is interesting to look at the splits of first 3 vs last 6 over which he is 5-1, 13 TD's and 1 INT. In addition to that, he had the 5 TD, 0 INT game in the playoffs, so that is 18 TD's and 1 INT over the last 7 games when you include the playoffs. the only loss in those games was the wind game when they rubbed the Bills nose in the dog poop....remember that clown? Conclusion: Josh has turned into a Patriots killer which is right up there with the best trait to have as a Bills QB https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/josh-allen-stats-versus-new-england-patriots https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/josh-allen-rushing-stats-versus-new-england-patriots Josh Allen Vs Jets Stats: 9 games 6-3 Record, 62.1% 2041 yards, 8 TD's and 7 INTs 456 rushing yards and 6 more TD's 8 fumbles with 6 lost Once again looking at the first three (first two seasons) he had two of the losses vs the Jets which means over the last 5 he is 5-1 with the only loss being last year in NY. I find it interesting the lack of production vs the Jets, even though the Bills have won Josh has struggled vs the Jets in passing. That very well may continue because the Jets have a great defense. With Rodgers at QB they will be a bigger challenge. https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/josh-allen-stats-versus-new-york-jets https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/josh-allen-rushing-stats-versus-new-york-jets Overall Allen has been tremendous vs the AFC East, over the last 3 years, he is 15-3 and 2-0 in the playoffs. He often talks about how important those division games are and that focus has paid off. We will see if the going gets tougher this year...remember last year everyone thought the Chiefs would have 6 tough games vs their division and in the end the Chiefs still owned their division opponents. This year more than recent years those divisional matchups will be cruicial...hopefully Josh can continue his dominance vs the Pats and Dolphins.
  16. Buy some murder hornets on eBay they make short work of typical loser bees.
  17. As his parent, you need to decide what is best for him and follow through. Is this when Brian Daboll takes a day off?
  18. Do we need a waterboy?
  19. For whatever reason Mahomes does not bother me. He seems like a decent human to me who is just ridiculously talented. The Brady docs I could not watch.
  20. I am into the third episode.....Mahomes is a driven man! Mariota comes off as kind of weak emotionally, this thing does not paint him in a good light at all.
  21. My opinion on Davis (I know it is unpopular) is that I would not have voted him into the HOF. Great 7th round talent and all but he had the benefit of one of the great OL's in history and they chop blocked the crap out of defenses which is all illegal nowadays. I agree he got in due to his whole body of work including two superbowls but on most other teams, I think he is more ordinary.
  22. Terrell davis got in with the same number of years. But I don't think there is any chance Luck gets in. Not even if he gets lucky....the way he walked away I think is preceived a certain way even if it is unfair. Comparing his number to Allen....Luck completed 60.8% of his passes which would be considered bad today. His won/loss record was just above 500. I dont see mind boggling.....yes high for first few seasons but when you consider the changes in the game its not as impressive. Allen beats him in TD%, INT%, rushing...they are tied in Y/A. Both are 4-4 in playoffs but Lucks postseason stats blow, he threw more INT's than TD's. Comparing him to Allen has no bearing on HOF but he is not HOF worthy at all. If he put up 15 seasons, maybe.
  23. I find it interesting Thomas and Reed have the same amount of TD's. Since getting rushing TD's can be more plentiful/easier it makes me appreciate Reed a little more.
