  1. I thought I told you guys no we can’t talk about this?
  2. I really think this is about impulse vs being calculated in your decisions. Josh has had many instances of not making good down and distance decisions in his career. They frequency comes and goes and when he is humming along, he can eliminate the bad decisions. The 2021 playoffs (patriots/chiefs 13 seconds) are a good example of that, when Josh is at his ceiling, there is almost no limit. My beef with Josh is that he talks about making the right decisions, he understands it but when it is time to execute he just goes on impulse too often for a 6th year guy. Teams use preparation, film study and even psychologists to manage this type of thing. I have no idea what Josh is taking advantage of or not but he should have all the resources one could need. But some of his comments on podcasts make me raise my eyebrows a little....."I don't study film endlessly". "I don't manage my diet all the time, I can just fast" and other things. Taken individually thee could mean nothing but in the ultra competitive nature of the NFL, everything/every detail matters. I wish that was his mentality. Sometimes you have to be boring, take the short passes, throw a ball away, just fall on the ball after a fumble, every play cannot be superman Josh. Ultimately I think Josh probably needs some reminders in the Helmut about key down and distance info. Each play he should have a plan A, plan B and maybe a plan C and those can change a lot depending on situational football. Dabol vs Dorsey: People have re-written history with Dabol because of how it ended but the 2021 season was a big challenge, similar to this year, week 1 was a disaster and in week 2 they won 35-0 and if you look back at the aftermath people were saying "it didn't look right". It took most of the season to get the offense humming. Something similar could happen this year, we would all rather these guys peak in the playoffs than week 1. People routinely were calling for Dabol's head previous to the 2021 playoffs....I am sure we can find if if you use the search function. Thanks, had to get that off my chest.
  3. Just hear to say they need a quarterback screamer...someone to just rip Josh a new one when its deserved
  4. This is utter speculation bring your saw and scredriver and make it happen! This is a solid plan that cannot fail!!!!!! Just like the underwear gnomes!
  5. That's nice what an interesting and unique thought. McDermott has said that dozens of times publicly but Josh does what Josh does. It s crystal clear what the coaches want, go back and watch his interview after the Thursday game last year....Allen said yep the coaches say that, but I'm a football player first. Go to 1:40 When it comes to certain things, like avoiding contact based on down and distance, Josh has proven to not be coachable. He needs some humble pie, hopefully the coaches can muster the strength to put him in his place to a degree, it risks the team's goals. He needs to play smarter than he did last week.
  6. She sounded tongue in cheek ish on the mic. Our society is so sensitive.
  7. A bunch of clowns will be saying fire Dorsey fire McDermott sell the team. Etc. win or lose that crap will happen
  8. No, now is not the time
  9. Ir has a roof
  10. Burned? come on, he got his hand on the ball and had good position, it was a highlight play but it was also fortunate for Wilson the ball stayed within his span.
  11. Poyer was playing Covid football, no touching of the other players allowed
  12. Yeah a million weapons will make him make better decisions.
  13. I dont know, it is concerning.
  14. As terrible as we feel today, Jets fans have it 10000% worse
  15. Not all QB decision's are equal either. Blaming refs for losing last night is straight up insanity
  16. My only beef with Dorsey is that he needs to stop being Allen's buddy and rip him a new one.
  17. Yep, that was the first half INT, it was a bad decision.
  18. Again, you have to consider the defense, you are not going to just go up and down the field all day vs those guys. Not every play works, its not always on the OC when it does not work. The gameplan was good, the QB's execution was the problem last night.
  19. He needs/needed a humble pie, hopefully he got that yesterday. I disagree though, he is a leader, it was one of his worst days.....lets not judge him completely on his worst day.
  20. This is nonsense....complete nonsense. They had a quick pass game gameplan and it was working....13 points in the first half against that defense on the road is fine. Against that team, you easily win. Josh melted down in the second half, he played terribly, anyone who cannot see that is simply blinded by love for him. Trying to jump through two LB's when there is no chance of getting the first down, throwing into double and triple coverage....throw it away, punt and live for another set of downs. The winning formula is boring compared to what Josh wants to do. He says what he needs to do, he understands it but when in the game, he cannot control his impulses.
  21. I see lack of pursuit/aggressiveness not lack of pursuit.
  22. In some ways the game is very simple. Don’t turn. It over, tackle, limit penalties. Josh lost this game putting the ball in harms way. He says he should not do that but he goes and does it routinely.
