Who is the best Corner in Bills history?
Matt_In_NH replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall
Punt catcher. My next jersey -
Friday i went to foxnews.com and searched the word “stock” and “market” on the front page. Came up empty. Only story was about a positive jobs report. Nothing about the market down 2k. Everyone on the right is a programmed trump puppet.

From what I have seen of Shadeur off the field, I can see why a team would question if he is the guy.

He was a 7th round pick who has played in one glorified regular season game.

Bills push to host a future NFL Draft.

Yeah, I did a quick google search and the greater Buffalo area has 10000 hotel rooms, another 7000 in Rochester. Figure double occupancy....I see your point. VRBO and air B&B can fill some too. I think people can rent their yards for tents or something....LOL -

Owners approve rules adjustments for Replay, OT, and Kickoff
Matt_In_NH replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree the owners will not be as quick to make changes when it affects revenue. I think the Thursday product generally sucks and I have heard players complain but not sure it is backed up by injury data, not saying it is or isn't just that I have not seen it if it exists. I think in many cases guys miss a Thursday game where maybe they could go on a Sunday, certainly true for concussions. Also, valid point on the turf, that is a bit tricky for some of the existing domes and whatnot. They should not play on that turf in London at Tottenham and in NY (and probably some other places) so there are things they could do. I will say that long term affects of concussions are probably a different category than other injuries. -

Is there data to support this? I mean I think the product is sometimes bad and I hear complaints but is there data that there are more injuries? They absolutely changed the kick offs because data showed concussions were at a much higher rate than other plays. Not saying the NFL "cares" but they did change the kickoff based on player safety. -

I think the idea is you make it painful to decide to take the touchback. Because the difference in the touchback and the penalty are now only 5 yards you will probably see kickers try and coffin corner the kickoffs and work on that craft. I believe the touchbacks will go way down as a result of this which is what they want. You will have to put more resources into kick and kick return. I almost made the exact point....I noticed this too. I predict teams will get good at defending the kick return....and knock down the 30 to the an average of like the 25. Last year there was not much reason do put the effort in. -

I understand your sentiment but I don't agree. That would be a sucky rule the NFL PA will not agree to. It goes both ways....when a player over performs or underperforms his contract changes can be made....and are made The team can tell the player to pound sand if he wants a raise and the team can waive the guy if he is underperforming. -

I like the reverse flag thing....a lot of those are bang bang and the replay clearly shows not a foul, so lets clean that up. You cannot throw flags on reviews...that is a pandoras box. -

Did McDermott put Howie in the figure four? -
I hope and think they will go after a 1T......it seems like the right draft to do it and while they do like penetrators they also have 1T needs and I think they understand that.

He did do the safe signal thing. I have never seen the “dark ref” dressed in all black run out like that. Just bad officiating. -

I traveled to and attended this game. I always wanted to watch the tv broadcast. It had so many weird plays. John brown jumping/hopping while catching that ball on the sideline. Duke Williams two hands on the ball in the end zone. The second half kick. They could have been up 28 nothing. -
Being a top 3 team in scoring. Does it matter how we do it?
Matt_In_NH replied to PrimeTime101's topic in The Stadium Wall
From reading these boards yes! We need to play with our wide receiver choo choos!! -
Yeah there is a whole thread dedicated to why he has so much leverage over the Bills......it truly was the opposite. A 6th round pick has not earned much (relatively) for an NFL players. If he played out the year and tore his knee up or something he would cost himself a lot. The deal made sense for both sides.
